Julianne Moore cuts a chic figure in black gown at Gotham Awards in New York City
Julianne Moore attended the 33rd annual Gotham Independent Film Awards, which took place Monday night in New York City.
The 62-year-old actress cut a fashionable figure as she posed for a few photos on the red carpet at the star-studded event.
The artist, who recently attended the Deadline Contenders event, opted for a jet black dress that draped over her sculpted frame at the awards ceremony.
Moore wore several pieces of jewelry to the event, including a gold bracelet and a pair of sparkling earrings.

The actress won the 2014 Gotham Independent Film Award for Best Actress for her work in the feature film Still Alice.
The feature film was based on the novel of the same name by Lisa Genova, which was published in 2007.
Still Alice centers on a linguistics professor who is diagnosed with familial Alzheimer’s disease not long after turning 50.
In addition to Moore, the film also starred Alec Baldwin, Kristen Stewart and Kate Bosworth.
Still, Alice proved to be both a commercial and critical success, and it currently holds an 85% rating Rotten tomatoes.
The Boogie Nights star also took home the Academy Award for Best Actress for her work in the film.
Moore is currently preparing for the big release of the feature film May December, in which she will play the lead role.
The film revolves around an actress who meets a person she will portray in a biopic about his relationship with a minor.

May December premiered at the 76th Cannes Film Festival, which took place last May, to positive reviews from critics.
The feature is currently scheduled to release on Netflix on December 1.
