Julianne Hough embraces her loved ones after sister-in-law Hayley Erbert’s emergency skull surgery: ‘Holding my family extra tight this holiday season’
Julianne Hough shared a beautiful slideshow of family photos on Thursday.
The 35-year-old professional dancer shared several throwback photos of her family on Instagram with the caption, “Holding my family extra tight this holiday season.”
This comes on the same day that her brother, Derek Hough, shared an update on how her sister-in-law and his wife, Hayley Erbert, successfully underwent emergency skull surgery.
For the cover photo, she shared a photo of herself with her friend Nanci Dahl and sisters Marabeth Hough Poole and Sharee Hough Selman.
The Dancing with the Stars host – who wore the same Versace dress modeled by Lady Gaga to the 2023 Oscars during the season 32 finale – also shared photos of him cuddling Derek and another with Hayley.

The Safe Haven actress was also seen hugging her puppy, Sunny, and posing next to her mother, Marriann Hough, in another sweet photo.
The duo also beamed, showing off their identical smiles in a sweet selfie with Derek.
In one of the photos, she crouched down and posed with her friend Nanci Dahl's daughter as they cuddled Julianne's precious pooch together.
She also posted a grinning selfie with her 19-year-old nephew Aidan Poole.
This comes after Julianne's sister-in-law had to undergo an emergency craniectomy.
Earlier this month, Derek revealed that his wife would undergo surgery after she “became disoriented” at the end of a show they were performing in Washington, DC.
Since then, he has kept his followers on Instagram informed of her recovery.
He later explained that she was diagnosed with “a cranial hematoma due to a ruptured blood vessel” and required surgery on her skull.

This comes after Julianne's sister-in-law had to undergo an emergency craniectomy. Earlier this month, Derek revealed that his wife Hayley would undergo brain surgery after she “became disoriented” at the end of a show they were performing in Washington, DC.
According to the Mayo Clinic, an intracranial hematoma is a collection of blood in the brain tissue or under the skull, which then presses on the brain.
He wrote in an Instagram post that she had to undergo a second surgery to “insert a cranial implant to replace the piece removed during the craniectomy.”
He said the follow-up procedure would “restore the skull to its natural shape and protect the brain from injury.”
Prior to Hayley's emergency craniectomy, Derek had been working on an exciting project with Julianne for the holidays.
ABC announced Wednesday that the brother duo would return for the 40th year as hosts of the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.
Julianne and Derek had recorded the show together in November.
