Julia Haart is full of love after keeping $58M home and much more in epic divorce win against tycoon husband

My Unorthodox Life star Julia Haart beamed as she was pictured in New York City on Tuesday after winning a huge divorce in a bitter lawsuit with her ex-husband Silvio Scaglia.

Haart, 53, was seen talking to reporters after a New York judge awarded her control of the company she ran with Scaglia, 66, during the marriage, the $65 million Tribeca apartment they lived in, and nearly $10 million in cash, according to Page six.

The Moscow-born designer and TV personality was dressed in an all-black ensemble of a black fur coat with zip-up leather platform boots. She wore a red top with black shorts and lace pantyhose.

Haart wore a light layer of makeup as she parted her dark locks and accessorized with hoop earrings, carrying a black leather handbag on the winter day.

Haart’s daughter Batsheva posted a TikTok of her mother celebrating the win, dancing to DJ Khaled’s All I Do Is Win and drinking champagne.

Haart and Scaglia had been fighting it out in court for almost three years in multiple lawsuits.

During their marriage, Haart worked as creative director of the luxury lingerie brand La Perla and co-owner of Elite World Group (EWG), which represents the largest number of modeling agencies in the world.

However, when Haart told Scaglia that she was divorcing him in 2022, he fired her from EWG.

Haart said Scaglia gave her half of Freedom Holding — which owns EWG and their luxury condo — in exchange for running the company.

Scaglia claimed that Haart owned only a fraction of the company and accused her of embezzling millions of dollars from EWG, which he was unable to provide evidence in court.

Judge Jeffrey Pearlman granted Haart a default judgment in the divorce last week after Scaglia no longer interfered in the proceedings.

Haart received a 50 percent interest in Freedom Holding and a power of attorney over the 50 percent of Scaglia.

The judge ruled that she now owns the 16-room Tribeca triplex penthouse they lived in during their marriage.

She also received $7,400,000 in unpaid management fees for 2019 through 2021 and half of the proceeds from a Kees Van Dongen painting from Freedom Holding that Scaglia sold for $2,972,632.

“Words cannot fully express the immense joy and gratitude I feel in my heart,” Haart told Page Six.

“Throughout this journey, I remained steadfast in my belief in truth and justice, deeply confident that if I stayed the course, truth would ultimately prevail and the wrongs done to me would be righted.

“I am deeply grateful to God for giving me the strength to persevere, and to Judge Pearlman for holding Silvio accountable and ensuring that justice was served.”

In June, Scaglia was charged with contempt after failing to appear in court on an agreed date.

A judge ruled that Scaglia owed Haart $300,000 in legal fees, which he ordered to be paid by January 2024.

However, Scaglia seemed unwilling to honor the order and fled to Milan.

In 2023, Scaglia attempted to evict Haart from the $70 million Tribeca penthouse and force the sale of the home to prop up his floundering business.

Haart is the star of the Netflix series My Unorthodox Life, which documents her life after leaving an incredibly strict Orthodox Jewish community.

Since then, she has developed into a key figure in the fashion industry and is the owner of the shapewear brand +Body.

“I feel very personal and emotional about this because my body hasn’t been mine my entire life,” Hart told DailyMail.com in September 2023.

She added, “I was just a human being who was supposed to have babies and take care of people and be a quiet, obedient, quiet woman… that was my job.”
