Julia Fox has claimed that her short-lived romance with the disgraced Kanye West stemmed from a desire to help him move on from ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
The Uncut Gems actress, 32, who dated West, 45, for less than two months from January this year, said she was ‘delusional’ that she once thought she could help the rapper, but ‘took him off Kim’s case wanted to get’.
West recently returned to Twitter after receiving widespread backlash over multiple anti-Semitic rants on social media last month, sending his career and net worth into freefall.

Julia took to TikTok on Monday and spoke to a fan who asked her why she was dating “a famously violent misogynist and anti-Semite” – with the star adding that she dated West before his career went down.
Julia said, “Okay, since I was just going to write about it in my book and then let you all buy it, but I’m just telling you for free.
“First of all, the guy was acting normal around me and not only that, but the Kardashians, when I had a fashion line 10 years ago, they actually bought our clothes and sold them in their stores and so I’ve always had a fondness for Kim especially and even Kourtney especially and like them all so much.
“But no, like the big three: Khloé, Kim, Kourtney. Those are my girls. Anyway, so by the time me and him got together, it was like he hadn’t done anything yet, you know, like out there.

“He, all he’d done was change the name in the song and said, ‘Come back to me, Kimberly.’ That was really the only thing when we met.
“But I just remember thinking, ugh, he texted me, I didn’t really pick up.” I felt like I don’t really want to talk [with] this celebrity again. You know what I mean?
‘Nothing ever comes of it. They’re a bit boring. They are not what you think they will be. But he kept going on and on and he was acting like you have bad texting etiquette and I was like, ‘Oh my God, Kanye is yelling at me. What am I supposed to do?’
“But then I had this thought: I thought, ‘Oh my God, maybe I can get him off Kim’s case. Maybe I can distract him, get him to like me and I knew if anyone can do it, I can do it. am.” because if I’ve set my heart on something, I’ll do it.’
And I will say that that month we spent together, he wasn’t on Twitter first. He was not on any kind of social media. He didn’t even talk about his relationship.

Kim married Kanye in Florence, Italy, in 2014, and welcomed four children with him: daughters North, nine, Chicago, four, and sons Saint, six, and Psalm, three. Finally, in February 2021, she filed for the marriage to end.
He and Julia confirmed their split after West shared a slew of Instagram posts declaring “I wish my wife was with me” and pining for his family’s reunion.
Fox, who appeared with Adam Sandler in 2019’s Uncut Gems, previously described her romance with West as “organic” and “natural,” and started off strong.
“Time will tell, you’ll just see,” she said. “Of course it looks a certain way, but people don’t know the behind-the-scenes conversations, and you know, I’ve been there.”
Fox said it was “unfortunate” that people compared her to Kardashian, saying their only similarities were fashion ones.
