Julia Fox debuted one of her strangest ensembles yet as she stepped out in New York City on Thursday to promote her new fashion design series OMG Fashun.
The 34-year-old Uncut Gems star was out and about for the press day of her new E! competition series, which she co-hosts with celebrity stylist Law Roach.
She appeared decked out in a ‘groundbreaking look’ that would suit the contestants of OMG Fashun, which premieres on May 6 at 9 p.m.
She had all eyes on her as she showed off a long platinum blonde wig, although it was her suit adorned with grooming tools and her hair shoes that attracted the most attention.
Her skimpy ensemble consisted of a lacy white halter top that she wore under a black one-button suit jacket, which had multiple scissors, needles, barrettes and other styling accessories attached to the fabric.

Julia didn’t wear any pants, opting instead for matching black panties, and over the crotch she had additional silver barrettes in the shape of a cross.
The actress turned fashion iconoclast showed off her toned legs with some sheer black stockings.
The most unusual part of her ensemble was her shoes. Julia stood on her toes as if she were wearing high heels, but it appeared she only had a set of blonde hair extensions to match her wig, which were draped over her toes and adorned with silver barrettes to hold the strands together.
It’s not clear if Julia had tried to walk around the hair extensions or if she had just draped them over her feet as she posed for photos.
Her wig had long blonde locks that were draped over her shoulders and held back with more clips and rollers, and she had her eyebrows bleached blonde for good measure while wearing severe ’60s-style eye makeup.
Julia completed the special ensemble with a playful white handbag with sample contents on the side.
Julia was announced as co-host of OMG Fashun in early February.
The competition series will feature three contestants in each episode who will be tasked with creating a “groundbreaking look, born from Fox’s beautifully daring mind, using materials and techniques that would make fashion’s so-called gatekeepers squirm,” thus Variety.
“OMG Fashun is shaping the future of fashion, emphasizing sustainability, upcycling and creative craftsmanship to restore the integrity of this art form,” Julia said in a statement at the time. ‘To be the most stylish person in the room, you don’t have to spend a lot of money; all it takes is creativity and a touch of self-confidence. My biggest hope is that our viewers will be inspired by what we create on the show and recreate the looks at home using all the old junk they have lying around.”

In addition to hosting the new series, Julia is also an executive producer.
Just days after the 2023 Academy Awards, her co-host Law Roach shocked the fashion world and the entertainment industry when he announced he was retiring from styling the stars — with the exception of his longtime friend Zendaya.
After blaming the ‘politics’ of the Hollywood style and the lack of recognition that came with it, he seems to be moving towards a more public role with the profiling series.
