Julia Fox bares her taut tummy in a cropped and backless black sweater as she strays from her usual wild style
Julia Fox strayed from her typical over-the-top fashion on Saturday night when she headed to Quad Cinema in New York City.
The 33-year-old multihyphenate – King Kong magazine’s latest cover star – bared her flat abs in a messy cropped black sweater.
The knit top had no back and the sleeves stopped at her elbows before flowing into sheer black gloves.
The style-conscious superstar paired the fall-ready top with classic blue straight-leg jeans that fastened just below her belly button.
The Down The Drain author stepped out to attend a screening of the film Something You Said Last Night, which she executive produced.

Fox wore her glossy, red-hued locks down the middle, with face-framing layers and soft curls.
Her face was beautifully made up with her trendy, thin eyebrows anchoring the look.
Matte foundation provided the base for her porcelain complexion and she dusted her cheeks with a bold pink blush.
The mother-of-one covered her plump pout with a glossy brown shade, completing the look.
She carried a black leather bag with silver studs and wore black leather boots.
Julia has been actively promoting the film on her social media platform.
On Saturday, she shared a clip on her Instagram Story, saying of Friday night’s premiere: “Last night was amazing. Thank you to everyone who came to support.
‘See you again tonight!! I’ll be there at seven.’

She shared a video clip in which she proudly says, “I really believe in this movie and I believe it’s long overdue, a movie like this.”
“And the world needs it, and the puppets need it, and it’s only for the greater good of humanity,” she said of the drama.
Actress Tommy Dorfman moderated the screening with Julia on Friday evening.
The feature film was written and directed by Canadian-Italian filmmaker Luis De Filippis, a proud trans woman.
Julia emphasized the relevant timing of the film in one interview clip as she reminded viewers, “trans rights are under attack right now.”
She became emotional in the recording, she said in essence, the film “is ultimately about just being people.”
Dorfman also mentioned the film on Instagram, writing in a caption on Saturday: “Had a fantastic time moderating the first NYC screening of Something You Said Last Night with @luisdefilippis and @carmenmadonia!
“The film is executive produced by @juliafox and is playing at @quadcinema until Thursday, September 28 – get your tickets before it’s gone!”

After New York City, the film will also play in Los Angeles for a week from September 29 to October 5.
While speaking about the film on another occasion, Fox emphasized how difficult it is to make a film as a woman, let alone as a trans woman.
“It’s so hard, even as a woman, to get something made and for people to take you seriously, so imagine as a trans woman how hard it is,” she told an audience.
“The fact that we’re here at all is actually a miracle,” she emphasized.
