Newbie mistake! Jules Sebastian suffers an embarrassing influencer mistake in a sponsored Instagram post… after THAT Photoshop mistake
Jules Sebastian has come under fire online for making an embarrassing mistake in a sponsored Instagram post.
Guy Sebastian’s influential wife shared a video for a cashback rewards company, but it was clear she would just copy and paste a caption provided by the brand’s publicist.
The video, which was uploaded last month, showed the 42-year-old standing in her kitchen demonstrating how to make a peach margarita using products she had purchased using the Cashback app.

But it appears Jules didn’t check her caption, as she included a line from a private email that clearly shouldn’t have been posted.
His post began with “Just a few title amendments,” which was presumably a memo from Shopback’s publicist, before moving on to the pre-approved copy.
Jules has since edited her caption to remove the blunder.
The video, which was uploaded in November, showed Jules standing in her kitchen demonstrating how to make a peach margarita using produce she had purchased using a cash-back app. However, when trying to write the caption for him, Jules accidentally copied a message that wasn’t meant to be uploaded.
The bug was first discovered by ‘snark’ Instagram account @Celeb_Spellcheck, who shared a screenshot of Jules’s post among other examples of influencer glitches.
Jules’ mistake comes a year after the mother-of-two was caught Photoshopping bottles of vitamin gummies in another sponsored Instagram post.
The photo showed Jules buttering her children’s sandwiches in the kitchen of her $3.1 million Maroubra home.
“Just a few title amendments,” Jules began her post, before typing out the rest of her sponsored post as usual.
But the three bottles of vitamin gums on the counter looked suspiciously out of place.
They looked too big and didn’t cast shadows, which are telltale signs they were Photoshopped afterwards.
Her post was uploaded by Celeb Spellcheck along with the caption: ‘life hack: Photoshop products into your content #angelsbroughtthemhere’.

Jules deleted her post and after being mocked by Celeb Spellcheck followers, before returning to Instagram with an explanation days later.
‘You may have seen a post I posted and then deleted with my partner Nature’s Way earlier this week. I need to clear this up for you guys,’ he wrote.
‘I want to start by saying that for years our family has used and still uses Vita Gummies. When I took a picture with the Vita Gummies, I used the ones I had in my closet and didn’t realize they had outdated labels.’

“To want to make sure I wasn’t misleading my community and to ensure compliance protocols were followed, the photo was Photoshopped with the new labels on the packages,” he explained.
Jules finished: ‘My intentions are always to be honest and I really hope they know that I value them very much. Thanks again for the endless support and love.’
