“Honestly, I was six years old when this galaxy, this world grabbed me, blew my head, and I’ve felt like I’ve been preparing ever since, so it was a breeze. It was a real pleasure’.

The show takes place after the events of Return Of The Jedi.

“It’s the story about a group of kids – about 10 years old – from a small planet, who accidentally get lost in the Star Wars galaxy,” said director John Watts, per Weekly entertainment. “And it’s the story of their journey to find their way home.”

“It’s like a kids show like Clone Wars,” says producer Dave Filoni. “And I’m like, we chopped off people’s heads in Clone Wars, so I’m not sure that’s the best measure.”

“We thought it was a good idea to use kids to give you a different perspective and look at the galaxy through a different pair of eyes,” Watts said.

It comes after Lucasfilm announced that the Star Wars saga will continue with three brand new big screen outings.

Each movie takes place in different stages of the Star Wars timeline, with 33-year-old Daisy Ridley returning as Jedi hero Rey.

The actress first appeared in 2015’s The Force Awakens, then starred in The Last Jedi in 2017, before finalizing her character in 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker.

Mangold’s movie is said to go back to the ‘dawn of the Jedi’, and Filoni’s movie follows The Mandalorian and Ahsoka.

During the celebrations in London, Daisy sparkled in a red fitted dress with a big bow on one shoulder and tight around her waist.

She added a pair of nude stilettos to her height and pulled her dark hair up neatly.

She first starred as Rey alongside longtime stars Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher in 2015, as well as series new stars John Boyega and Adam Driver.

The trilogy ended in 2019 when Rey visited Luke Skywalker’s abandoned residence to bury Luke’s (Mark Hamill) and Leia’s (Carrie) lightsabers.
