Jude Bellingham joked there would be 'a lot of walking' in a team of the year selected by Jamie Carragher and host Kate Abdo on CBS Sports kickoff show.
The Real Madrid star was asked to take part in the show to choose between two teams drawn up by the experts to mark the start of voting for the EA Sports FC 24 Team of the Year.
Carragher and Abdo joined forces against fellow experts Micah Richards and Alex Scott on the show.
The competing teams were not allowed to choose the same players, resulting in two different lineups being selected.
Carragher tried to convince Bellingham to select their final squad, with a powerful strike from Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane and Lionel Messi.

“Look at that front three,” Carragher said.
'I mean, can you ever pick a better front three than this? You have Mbappé, the best player in the world at the moment. You have Messi.'
Bellingham was quick to note, “I don't think there's enough energy in it,” while Richards added, “there's no legs.”
“You don't think there's enough energy in it,” Carragher replied, prompting Bellingham to make the cheeky comment: “No, lots of walking.”
Carragher continued to defend the selection, telling Bellingham: “I'll tell you what Jude, race against Mbappe and see what happens.”
The former Liverpool defender and Abdo also selected goalkeeper Mike Maignan and a defense of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kim Min-jae, John Stones and Theo Hernandez in their team.
Kevin De Bruyne, Declan Rice and Jamal Musiala were chosen as their midfield lineup.

Bellingham also lined up in midfield alongside Rodri and Pedri, with Mo Salah, Erling Haaland and Vinicius Jnr completing the line-up.
Richards joked 'if we get Jude in our team we'll actually win' as he decided to pick the England star in their squad.
His comment proved correct when Bellingham chose to select Scott and Richard.
