Jude Bellingham could make just three appearances for Real Madrid in the next six weeks after being handed a two-match ban for dissent.
The punishment rules him out of this week’s home game against Celta Vigo and next week’s trip to Osasuna.
This will be followed by an international break with Madrid back in action against Athletic Bilbao on March 31, which should mark his return.
The following weekend is another empty weekend for Real Madrid, as the league matches for the Spanish Cup final are cancelled.
And while Madrid should be in action next week when they beat RB Leipzig on Wednesday evening, Bellingham, if shown a yellow card for the match, will also miss the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final due to a pile-up of warnings. He will then be available for a trip to Mallorca on April 14.

Bellingham was sent off at the end of Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Valencia for protesting to referee Jesus Gil Manzano after the referee ruled out what would have been the England midfielder’s winning goal in the match.
Gil blew his whistle not much more than a second after Brahim Diaz crossed from the right and Belligham headed in.

The bright side for Gareth Southgate is that he will play Belgium and Brazil at Wembley on March 23 and 26, after missing England duty during the last break due to injury.
