Bellingham, along with Chelsea’s Levi Colwill, were forced to withdraw from Gareth Southgate’s squad for this month’s Euro 2024 qualifiers due to injury.

A statement from the Three Lions on Tuesday morning confirmed that Jude Bellingham and Levi Colwill would play no part in England’s matches against Malta and North Macedonia after being deemed unfit.

Bellingham and Colwill – who both missed their club games this weekend due to shoulder injuries – joined Southgate’s squad at St George’s Park on Monday afternoon.

The pair were assessed by England’s medical staff before being told they would play no part in the upcoming matches due to the status of their injuries.

Instead, Bellingham and Colwill were told they would return to their respective clubs – Real Madrid and Chelsea – to continue their rehabilitation.
