Judas Priest are forced to cancel their gig in Texas just HOURS before taking to the stage during their Invincible Shield Tour

Legendary ’70s band Judas Priest had to cancel their show Tuesday night, just hours before they were scheduled to take the stage in Texas.
The heavy metal band, currently consisting of Rob Halford, Ian Hill, Glenn Tipton, Scott Travis and Richie Faulkner, will perform in the US to celebrate their latest album, Invincible Shield.
The singers of Breaking The Law were scheduled to take the stage at Sugar Land in Houston, but released a statement on social media saying they had to cancel the performance due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
The message read: ‘We will notify you with an update on your event. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Judas Priest show on October 22 at the Smart Financial Center in Sugar Land has been canceled.
‘Refunds are available at the time of purchase.’

The heavy metal band, which currently consists of Rob Halford, Ian Hill, Glenn Tipton, Scott Travis and Richie Faulkner, is currently performing in the US to celebrate their latest album.
While they didn’t reveal any further details, they added: “If you purchased from a third-party reseller (Ticketmaster, StubHub, SeatGeek, VividSeats), etc., please contact your point of purchase.”
It comes after the group – which first formed in 1969 – recently performed in Phoenix, Las Vegas, LA, Reno and Portland.
The next stop on their tour is in Austin on Thursday, before the final US date in Dallas on Saturday. There are currently no changes to these dates.
The rockers rose to fame with the release of their debut album Rocka Rolla in 1974
Their latest album was unveiled earlier this year and shot to the top of the charts around the world, including Sweden, Switzerland and Germany.
Rob previously opened up about life on tour and shared that Texas has a special place in the group’s heart and history, telling the Houston Chronicle: “When Priest first came to America in the late 1970s, Houston knew us al.
“Texas already knew us, Dallas, San Antonio, this part of America had already tuned in and engaged. Texas was waiting, Houston was waiting, through the great works some of our friends were doing on rock radio, spreading the heavy metal gospel.
“We spent a lot of time in Texas. We couldn’t believe there were so many places to go. Everyone wanted to see Priest, and that never left us, that generous heart from Texas. It’s a pleasure to come back. We end up in Texas.”
