Joy-Anna Duggar opens up about her ‘insane hormones’ during third pregnancy
Joy-Anna Duggar has opened up about her “crazy hormones” as she prepares to welcome baby number three.
The 19 Kids and Counting star, 25, attacked her Youtube Channel to give her followers an insight as she heads towards her 33-week checkup.
She said she had been “super emotional” during this third pregnancy, but was still “really excited” to meet the baby boy.
Joy-Anna and husband Austin Forsyth, 29, who married in 2017, already share a five-year-old son Gideon and a two-year-old daughter Evelyn.

The 19 Kids and Counting star, 25, took to her YouTube channel to give her followers insight as she headed towards her 33-week checkup
She said she had been “super emotional” during this third pregnancy but was still “really excited” to meet the baby boy
Speaking of her pregnancy, she began, “I’m so excited.
“I can’t believe we’re still two weeks away from knowing the [induction] date and then from there, damn it, we’re only three weeks away from having the baby. It’s getting real, it’s getting close.’
“I feel like I was really prepared and not worried at all, but with it getting so close I’m like, ‘ahh,’ and my hormones have been insane lately.”
The former Arkansas TLC star continued, “I’ve been super emotional about everything.
“I’m not really nervous about having another baby, but all the unknowns — like the what ifs and whatever.
“I think if I think about it too long, it’s like, ‘Okay, well, what if this, what if that?’ So I just have to give it to the Lord and trust that everything will be alright.
“I have a great doctor and a great support team. I’m really excited, can’t wait to meet this little baby boy.”
The couple first announced the pregnancy in October 2022 with a joint Instagram post that read, “Baby #3 is on its way!”

The pair also uploaded a 13-minute YouTube video showing the former Counting On personality’s jaw as she removed the pregnancy test to see the result.
“We tried and we’re both ready for number three,” the mom-to-be said in the recording.
“Or baby number three and four,” her husband added.
“Wouldn’t that be cool?” Duggar asked rhetorically before continuing, “We’re in a really good place right now.”
“We love our family and we’re ready to expand, so we really hope we get pregnant. It would be crazy if it were twins. It would be fun.’

In July 2019, Joy-Anna revealed that she had tragically miscarried.
She took to Instagram at the time with a heartbreaking post that read, “It’s been a week today since we heard these words…” so this is your baby’s heart (pointing to the ultrasound screen). I don’t hear or see a heartbeat no movement.”
“We had gone in for our 20 week ultrasound and gender reveal. It was a baby girl.’
Joy-Anna said she and Austin had already decided on a name – Annabell Elise.
She continued, “Annabell means ‘God has favored me’ and Elise means ‘God is pleased.’
“How precious to know that when our daughter opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was the face of Jesus.”
