BREAKING NEWS: Journalist, 9-year-old girl and 20-year-old woman shot to death in a matter of hours in Orange County, Florida: Suspect, 19, is arrested as police investigate all three crime scenes, which they believe that are related.

A man has been arrested after a television reporter and a 9-year-old girl were shot and killed at the scene of the fatal homicide of a 20-year-old woman that occurred earlier that day in Orange County, Florida, all believed to be were connected to the same suspect.

Two others, another journalist and the boy’s mother, are injured and are currently in critical condition.

Keith Moses, 19, a career criminal with an extensive criminal record according to the local sheriff, was arrested and is suspected of committing all of the shootings, which took place between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday.

Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies reported to the 6100 block of Hialeah Street in Orlando at about 11:17 am, where they discovered a woman in her 20s who had been fatally shot.

Sheriff John Mina said homicide detectives collected evidence, conducted follow-up interviews and developed leads before leaving the facility.

At 4:05 pm they received a call for two more shootings, one in the same location as the first and one nearby.

The two men shot there were a reporter and a photographer for Spectrum News 13 and were reporting from the scene of the shooting. One of News 13’s employees has since died, but has yet to be identified.

Near Harrington Street, a mother and a 9-year-old girl were also shot, authorities believe, by Moses. Mina said it was not “clear” why Moises chose to enter her home.

Moses has already formally filed charges for the murder of the woman on Wednesday morning and Mina awaits more charges for the subsequent shootings.

“At 19, he has a lengthy criminal record, including weapons charges, aggravated assault and assault with a deadly weapon, robbery and grand theft,” Mina said of Moses.

Mina added that Moses “isn’t saying much right now” and they have not been able to determine a motive, nor have they found out if he specifically targeted members of the media.

“It’s not clear why exactly they were targeted, and we’re certainly going to look into that,” Mina said.

This is a developing story.
