Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith’s daughter’s legal name REVEALED… amid the couple’s shocking divorce after four years of marriage

Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith’s shocking divorce was announced on Monday, and amid the split, their daughter’s full name has now been revealed: Juno Rose Diana Jackson.

The three-year-old’s name was discovered in court documents obtained by People – not long after the Queen & Slim actress, 37, officially filed for divorce from the Fringe actor, 45, after four years of marriage.

Their daughter was previously called Janie, possibly a nickname, during an interview with People in 2022.

The former couple tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed their first and only child together in April 2020. Jodie — who is represented by celebrity attorney Laura Wasser — is asking for joint custody of the little one, per TMZ.

The British-born star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the couple’s split in the divorce filing on Monday, and also listed their separation date as September 13.

However, the two were notably seen at the COS Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show during New York Fashion Week and were all smiles just a day earlier on September 12.

A source said this recently Entertainment tonight that ‘Jodie and Joshua have been having problems lately.’

‘They celebrated Jodie’s birthday on September 9 at The Flower Shop in New York, but arrived and left separately.’

The insider further told the outlet, “It was a big party and they were at a distance all night and barely near each other. Jodie spent most of the evening downstairs.”

Joshua and Jodie first sparked romance rumors in October 2018 when they attended Usher’s 40th birthday party.

In August 2019, the couple fueled marriage rumors after they were seen leaving a Beverly Hills courthouse after picking up an apparent marriage certificate.

Months later, in December, We weekly confirmed that the stars had secretly said ‘I do’ and also revealed that the actress was expecting their first child.

During an earlier interview with Refinery29the actor revealed that the actress proposed to him during a trip to Nicaragua.

In April 2020, it was announced that the couple had welcomed a baby girl into the world. The following month, Jackson wrote a special Mother’s Day tribute to the sex education star.

‘Dear Jodie, On this special Mother’s Day I want to thank you for the light that you are. For the passion with which you threw yourself into caring for and protecting our child while it was still in your womb,” he wrote.

The Dawson’s Creek alum added, “For the dedication and willpower you showed in bringing her into the world. I have never seen a more powerful being than you in those moments.”

“Thank you for the depth of grace you have found since our daughter arrived,” he wrote, thanking the actress for “making me a father.”

He concluded: ‘I am humiliated more and more every day. I love you. I’m excited to see you enter the pantheon of mothers. And I look forward to walking this path alongside you as we nurture this little engine of joy that you have blessed the world with.”

Earlier this year, in March, Joshua opened up E! News about his relationship with the British actress and the couple’s family life. “The most surprising thing is that it is much more homely than it looks from the outside,” he explained.

“It’s very baby and family oriented in the house,” and he said sweetly, “It’s pretty spectacular, to be honest.”

‘Mommy likes to dress up and I don’t mind getting dressed and standing next to her. But it’s quite magical to have a child together.’

Last year, in September 2022, Joshua and Jodie sparked split speculation when they unfollowed each other on Instagram. However, the two soon re-followed each other on the social media platform and brushed off the rumors.

The Without Remorse actress has also spoken about her husband and their relationship in the past, including an interview on Late Night with Seth Myers.

“When I first met my husband, we had a one night stand,” she admitted, but then revealed that their marriage was stronger than ever. “We’ve been in a one-night stand for two or three years now.”

Turner-Smith then reflected on the moment she first met Joshua at Usher’s birthday party. “First of all, I saw him before he saw me and when I saw him I thought, ‘I want that.’

“And when he saw me, I pretended not to see him,” she said humorously. “All night long he followed me through the party. He felt the energy. He felt it.’

After their divorce, Jodie has seemingly moved on and stayed on the positive side.

Late last month, on September 28, the actress made a solo appearance at the Clooney Foundation for Justice event in the Big Apple. She dressed to impress in a chic black and white colored ensemble.

She’s also spent time abroad for Paris Fashion Week – where she made jaws drop when she put on a leggy show at Balmain Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024.
