Josh Duhamel showed off his doomsday-inspired lakefront property on a new episode of In Depth With Graham Bensinger.
The 50-year-old actor revealed that he owns a remote lakeside cabin located in Minnesota and is prepared with survival resources, including three wells and food plots.
The Shotgun Wedding star recalled how he first acquired the 26-acre property around 15 years ago when his father brought him to the ‘tropical paradise’, which he said he enjoyed because it was ‘away from it all’ is.
A self-proclaimed doomsday prepper, he also built two cabins, an outdoor sauna and functional outhouses on his lakeside property.
During the same interview, he opened up about his traumatic upbringing and also revealed the real reason why he split from his ex-wife Fergie after eight years of marriage.

He said he acquired the first half of the property for $75,000 and later expanded it with more land for $100,000.
He said the overall value should be so much more now that he has put so much of his time and money into the property.
He also fixed the original buildings in ‘Four Seasons compared to what it was before’.
The All My Children alum said how much the property is now worth ‘doesn’t matter to him as he has no plans to ever sell it.
As for why he built and prepared the resources on his property the way he did, he said he not only wanted to be ready for anything, but to have a place to relax in nature.
“We live in a very delicate society where (if) we lose our cell phones, we’re going to lose our divine mind,” he said, adding that it’s scary to think about not being able to get fuel or fuel. food

He shares the property with his wife, Audra Mari (29), who is currently expecting their second child together and is 21 years younger than her.
“Who knows if it will ever happen, but it’s fun,” he continued. “It’s a nice thing to pretend it’s going to happen.”
“I have this fear of having to move here and live off the land,” he told Bensinger. “I don’t know if it’s ever going to happen, but I feel like it’s a skill I need to learn how to do.”
The Transformers vet reflected on his traumatic upbringing and recalled a time where his father was homeless amid his parents’ divorce.
He also talked about preparing to welcome his second child with wife Audra Mari.
