Just a week and a half after revealing he’s expecting a child with his wife Audra Mari, Josh Duhamel revealed how his 10-year-old son Axl reacted.
Duhamel, 50, shares Axl with his ex-wife Fergie, to whom he was married from 2009 to 2019, with the actor revealing last week that Axl can’t wait to be a big brother.
During a new interview with Processionthe Transformers star revealed his son’s actual reaction, and it’s pretty adorable.
‘He’s excited about it, but he just has a lot of questions. He’s like, ‘Wait, am I going to… You’re still going to love me, right?'” Duhamel revealed.
‘I thought, “Of course I’ll still love you.” And he says, “I’m still your firstborn son, right?” I’m like, ‘Yes, you’re still the firstborn son!'” the actor said with a laugh.

“He says, ‘Can I teach him everything I know?’ Yes, please, I want you to teach him everything… well, almost everything you know,” Duhamel joked.
The actor added that Axl is very excited, “about this responsibility and figuring out how it’s all going to work.”
‘He is a very sweet boy. And he loves babies! At his age I was exactly the same. I’ve just always loved babies,” Duhamel admitted.
‘There’s something about them. And he is very good with younger children. So I think he’s going to be a great older brother,” the actor enthuses.
Duhamel and Mari, 29, announced they are expecting almost exactly a year after they tied the knot on September 10, 2022.
They announced the news in a joint Instagram post, “Baby Duhamel coming soon,” with a photo of the child’s ultrasound image.
Duhamel’s ex and Axl’s mother Fergie commented on their post: “I’m really happy for you guys,” adding a laughing heart emoji.
“Axl can’t wait to be a big brother,” she finished the note, which received thousands of likes.

The Fergalicious hitmaker recently took to Instagram to share a slew of photos of Axl to wish him a happy 10th birthday.
“To my caring, funny, outgoing, loving, smart, talkative, creative superhero lover,” the proud mom wrote.
She added, “Happy 10th birthday, punky!!! I love you, Axl Jack.”
Josh, meanwhile, was at the Minnesota State Fair to promote Buddy Games, his new reality competition series.
