Jordyn Woods shut down rumors that her latest TikTok video, in which she boasts about her naturally chubby pout, was an insult to her former best friend Kylie Jenner.
After fans flooded her comments section accusing her of putting down Jenner, who first admitted to wearing lip fillers at age 17 after spending years lip liner out of insecurity.
“Thank you mom and dad for this genetics,” the model, 25, captioned the images, which initially showed her wearing a filter that made her lips almost non-existent.

When the filter disappeared and her luscious lips returned to the screen, she could be seen lip-syncing to The Weeknd’s song Party Monster.

In response to a follower’s comment that Woods’ post was shady, Karl-Anthony Towns’ girlfriend said the post was not intended to cast “shade on anyone.”

“This is a trend that I’ve seen a lot of girls do and I wanted to continue,” she explained of her intention.
Some believed the video was insensitive towards Jenner, who has been open about insecurities about her lips, which led her to enhance them.
‘My love for makeup started with my insecurity with my lips. And I never thought about it until I had one of my first kisses,” the cosmetics mogul said during the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reunion show, which aired last year.

She continued: “One guy said to me, ‘Oh my gosh, you kiss so well, but you have such small lips,’ or something like that. And then from then on…from then on, I felt… impossible to kiss
Jenner, who began experimenting with lip fillers as a teenager, continued: “I took it very seriously. When a guy you like says that, I don’t know, it really hit me.
‘I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty. I really wanted bigger lips. I would line my lips with lip liner just to create the illusion of bigger lips,” she explained.
Ultimately, she felt the lip liner wasn’t enough, so she ended up “fixing up” her lips.
