It was two holes and two expletives for Jordan Spieth on Saturday morning as he got off to a rocky start to his third round at the PGA Championship.

The three-time Major champion only managed one shot on Friday and his bad week in New York continued as he bogeyed the first and then disliked his tee shot on the second.

To make matters worse for the American, hot mics picked up his very honest shots, as he hit a tree on the first hole and exclaimed, “Holy s*** Jordan!”

Just seconds before, a hilarious ESPN image had detailed exactly where the shot had landed — between the portable bathrooms along the fairway.

A few minutes later, as he began his second hole, Spieth was again heard cursing into the mike and remarking, “Damn, hit a damn iron shot!”

Fortunately for the 29-year-old, he recovered to make a birdie on the second hole – but normal service then resumed on the third with another bogey to bring him back to +6 for the tournament.

It’s been a tough week for a slew of big names at Oak Hill, with Justin Thomas also just coming through and Jon Rahm and Cam Smith also finishing +4 after the first two rounds.

At the other end of the standings, a very consistent Scottie Scheffler leads the pack at five-under-par, with Corey Conners and Viktor Hovland alongside him.

Justin Suh and big hitter Bryson DeChambeau are two shots back on T4 as the weather turns for the third round in New York State.

On Sunday night, the winner of the PGA Championship will take home a cool $2.7 million.
