Jordan Ablett celebrates son Levi’s fifth birthday with day at the beach with AFL star husband Gary

Jordan Ablett and her husband Gary have celebrated their son Levi’s fifth birthday.

On Monday, the pair shared a series of sweet photos of the toddler enjoying a day out at the beach to mark the occasion.

‘Our biggest boy turned FIVE today! Happy birthday Levi! We love you and are so proud of you,” she wrote.

In the footage, AFL star Gary held the little boy as he enjoyed a wade in the shallow water.

A beaming Levi looked thrilled to be having fun in the sun as his dad held him in his arms.

It comes after Gary and Jordan welcomed their third child last year, another baby boy whose name they have yet to reveal.

Jordan announced the happy news in July with a black and white photo of her Geelong Cats husband holding their precious newborn in a hospital bed.

The lovebirds also share a daughter named Grace, who is two.

In an interview with The Significant Others podcast in March 2021, Jordan spoke about the family’s heartbreak after Levi was diagnosed with a degenerative disease.

She said it took a long time for her son to be diagnosed with the unspecified illness, and described the devastation she and Gary felt after learning the disease was “life-threatening.”

“I remember sitting in that meeting with Gaz and when they said it, I remember completely breaking down,” she said.

After visiting a number of paediatricians, Jordan said it was the Geelong Football Club team doctor who finally put them in touch with the right person.

She said the new pediatrician “got the ball rolling,” and after months of worry, the couple, who married in 2016, finally had answers.

Jordan said she and Gary first became concerned after noticing Levi wasn’t reaching the same milestones as other children his age.

They decided to make the little boy’s condition public because they didn’t want to lie when people asked about their son.
