“In Sydney, Dusty comes to the gym and trains there. Fitness brings people together,” he says.

It comes after Dustin recently teamed up with Jono to launch his health and fitness app called Drip.

In an interview with the Herald Sun in July, the midfielder revealed how mindfulness has contributed to his success on the pitch.

“I think the more successful you become, the more distractions there are. Staying focused on the things that made you great will keep you getting better,” he said.

Dustin continued, “For me, mindfulness is something you have to be disciplined with and work on — it’s a skill, just like learning to play football.”

The talented soccer player features in most of the training programs offered on the app and has hand-selected a team of coaches and athletes.

There are several workouts that focus on HIIT, cardio, strength, yoga, and Pilates to name a few, while courses on meditation and mindfulness are also available.

Dustin has made headlines for his changing frame, having lost a reported 10kg since recovering from surgery on a ruptured kidney last July.

The Brownlow medalist was placed on a strict fruit-only diet to aid his recovery after surgery. For the treatment of kidney trauma, diets containing only fruits are regularly used.

Richmond Physical Performance Manager Peter Burge admitted in August that Dustin had “lost a bit of weight” due to the unusual nutrition program.

‘He has had to control his diet’ [for his] health have improved a bit in recent weeks and will continue to do so for the next three to four weeks,” he said at the time.

“He works with specialists and once he’s ticked off the specialists, he can resume some form of light training outside the season.”

Dustin spent nine days in hospital after suffering a ruptured kidney during a brutal field game with Brisbane player Mitch Robinson on July 16.

He missed the last month of the AFL season due to the injury.
