Rumours Jono Castano is feuding with his ex-girlfriend Simone Holtznagel’s model sister Madeline
The rift between former Eastern Suburbs ‘It couple’ Jono Castano and Simone Holtznagel has taken an unexpected turn.
Castano, a well-known personal trainer whose clients include Candice Warner and Rebel Wilson, confirmed his split from model Simone on Tuesday, telling Daily Mail Australia that they had split nine weeks ago.
But in the days following the announcement, the 33-year-old owner of trendy Sydney gym Acero has been hit with allegations that he is feuding with Simone’s sister Madeline.
Madeline, 27, also a model, is perhaps best known as the much younger girlfriend of Australian hospitality king Justin Hemmes.
Daily Mail Australia believes Castano’s split with Madeline happened before he broke up with Simone, 31, and was sparked by a “disrespectful” argument.
A source with knowledge of the feud says Castano and Madeline now “want nothing to do with each other”.
Castano and Madeline still follow each other on Instagram, but they generally don’t like each other’s posts or communicate on the social media platform.
The Holtznagel sisters have remained noticeably quiet on Instagram since Castano confirmed the shocking split from Simone.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Castano and Madeline for comment.
Jono Castano has been hit by shocking claims that he is ‘feuding’ with his ex-girlfriend Simone Holtznagel’s sister Madeline
It is claimed they are refusing to have anything to do with each other after a ‘disrespectful’ blow-up saw left Madeline (pictured on Thursday) banned from Jono and Simone’s house.
Despite the alleged estrangement, Simone remains on good terms with her sister Madeline and the siblings are often seen together.
Just last month, Simone posted a gallery of adorable photos of herself having lunch with Madeline and their other sister Anna.
Simone beamed from ear to ear as she held her and Jono’s baby girl Gia in her arms, while Madeline sat across the table pampering Anna’s daughter Rosie.
The luncheon took place just days after Simone and her partner Jono split, and Madeline and Anna appeared to support her during the luncheon meeting.
Earlier this week, Jono officially confirmed the shocking news that he and Simone had split, just weeks after welcoming their first child together.
The fitness fanatic explained that he and Simone decided to split nine weeks ago, sometime in late May.
Jono told Daily Mail Australia exclusively about the split: ‘We decided it was best for her to spend time with her family in Wollongong.
“Who knows what the future holds. Our idea is to just be the best parents for Gia right now.”
Simone is currently staying with her family in Wollongong, while Jono remains in Sydney he runs the Acero gym, which he founded together with his ex-wife Amy.
The separation took place about nine weeks after they gave birth to their first child on Easter Sunday.
Amid the shocking claims, Madeline was spotted looking dejected on Thursday as she left Body By Berner dressed in stylish sportswear after her workout

On Tuesday, Jono, 33, confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that he and Simone (both pictured), 31, had split, nine weeks after officially calling it quits.
It is believed that Simone and Jono are still on good terms and are focusing on raising their daughter Gia together.
However, Simone has yet to comment on the split and has not posted anything on social media since the shocking news broke.
She has not shared any content on her Grid or Stories as she is still silent after the divorce.
Just hours after Jono confirmed their split, he tagged Simone in a post about their three-month-old daughter Gia, but she did not reshare the post.
He wrote: ‘Our little g @simoneholtznagel [love heart hands emoji],’ but his ex-girlfriend, who was a model, did not publicly respond to the post.
News of their split came hours after Simone posted a cryptic quote on her Instagram Stories about “moving forward” and having “a lot of patience.”
On Monday night, Simone posted a thinly veiled message on Instagram in which she said she was putting her own happiness first, in what appeared to be a reference to their divorce.
The quote read: ‘You don’t have to feel guilty moving on if you’ve given someone multiple chances to improve or change and they haven’t.
“Everyone has limits and it’s important to look out for your own well-being. If you’ve tried to help or waited for them to change their behavior but things haven’t changed, it’s okay to choose what’s best for you and move on.
“It is essential to prioritize your own happiness and peace, especially if you have been patient and understanding for a long time.”

Simone last shared an Instagram post with Jono on April 28, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at their first family photo shoot with baby Gia.
Despite splitting nine weeks ago, Simone and Jono recently returned from a trip to Tasmania with Jono’s ex-wife Amy and her new partner Aaron Evans.
Earlier this month, the exes proved they’re still on good terms when they went on an intimate family getaway and took baby Gia on her first-ever flight.
Amy shared several photos and videos from their stay at the luxurious Leighton House in rural Tasmania, which costs a minimum of two nights and will set you back $1,600.
The posts showed Simone and Jono doting on Gia and cooking together in the kitchen, while enjoying some cozy time with Amy and Aaron.
The couple started dating in 2022, months after Jono confirmed he had split from his partner Amy.
Celebrity personal trainers Jono and Amy were in love in high school, but split in 2021 after 15 years together.
Simone confirmed in October last year that she and Jono were expecting their first child and welcomed Gia into the world on Easter Sunday, March 31.

“Children were always in our plans. We started talking about it more and more and then it just happened,” she told Who magazine after falling pregnant with Gia.
