Jonathan Owens is Simone Biles’ biggest fan.
The NFL player wore his wife’s face on a T-shirt and a life-size photo of her as he showed his support during the Paris Olympic qualifying games last weekend.
“There are no words to describe how proud I am of you, sweetheart,” Owens wrote on Instagram after Biles secured her spot on Team USA with a stunning floor routine.
“When you think about all the work you’ve put in and everything you’ve been through and still being as dominant as ever, I’m speechless,” he added in the caption of the post, which features a photo of the couple kissing.
‘I am so grateful to be a part of this journey with you, and I can’t wait to see you there in Paris. I am so happy for you baby!!!!

“Cheers to your third Olympics!!!!!! It sounds so surreal to be able to say my wife is the best to EVER do it, how lucky am I. I love you so much,” he concluded the sweet post.
Owens also posted several photos of the 27-year-old, the most decorated gymnast in history, during a competition at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
Earlier in the day, he gave Biles a standing ovation when she earned a spot on the team for the third time.
“We’re going to Paris. Man I’m so proud,” the Chicago Bears safety wrote on Instagram on Sunday.
Biles earned an all-around score of 117.225, ahead of Sunisa Lee and Jordan Chiles, who finished second and third respectively.
Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera rounded out the top five, while Joscelyn Roberson and Leanne Wong also join the squad as traveling replacements.
“My wife is the best thing that has EVER happened, how did I get so lucky,” he wrote in the lengthy post
Owens also raved about his wife, whom he married in 2023, in a sweet Instagram Story

At the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Biles withdrew from the all-around finals to focus on her mental health, choosing to see a therapist weekly.
“After the Tokyo shows, I knew I wasn’t done,” Biles told NBC.
“So just getting back in the gym, working hard and trusting the process. … I knew I would be back,” she added.
This will be the first time Owens, who was temporarily unable to attend the Bears’ training camp to support his wife, will see her live at the Olympics.
The couple were not a couple when she made her debut at Rio in 2016, while the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 were held behind closed doors due to the coronavirus.
Biles and Owens, who began dating at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, married in April 2023.
“I do. Officially Owens,” Biles captioned a series of photos at the time. “This is the sign you should marry your best friend.”
Her friend agreed, adding, “My person, forever.”
