Jonathan Majors has ‘MORE alleged abuse victims’ come forward following arrest

More alleged abuse victims of Jonathan Majors have come forward after he was arrested in March on domestic violence charges for assaulting a 30-year-old woman in New York City, Variety reports.

A source told the outlet on Wednesday that the unidentified women are “cooperating with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office” ahead of the Majors’ May 8 appearance.

It comes just a day after the Marvel star, 33, was dropped by his management company Entertainment 360 in the wake of the controversy, according to deadline.

They also noted that sometime last month, Majors parted ways with his public relations firm – The Lede Company.

Neither Entertainment 360 nor The Lede Company responded to requests for comment.

Majors and fashion house Valentino reportedly “mutually agreed” that he would not be one of their guests at the annual Met Gala this year.

The rising star was arrested on March 25 on charges of “strangulation, assault and harassment” following an incident involving an unidentified woman, 30.

They reportedly got into a fight, after which Majors allegedly “attacked” her, causing visible injuries such as a “tear behind her ear, redness and marks on her face.”

A statement from the NYPD read: “A preliminary investigation has revealed that a 33-year-old man was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman. The victim told police she had been assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year-old man in custody without incident.”

His lawyer Priya Chaudhry released a statement on March 27, saying: “Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is likely the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows.

“We are rapidly gathering and presenting evidence to the prosecutor in the expectation that all charges will soon be dropped,” the statement continued.

The lawyer added: “The evidence includes video footage of the vehicle in which this episode took place, testimonies from the driver and others who both saw and heard the episode, and most importantly two written statements from the woman who recanted these allegations.”

“All the evidence proves that Mr. Majors is completely innocent and did not assault her in any way,” Chaudhry continued.

She added: “This incident arose because this woman had an emotional crisis, for which she was taken to a hospital yesterday.”

“The NYPD has to make arrests in these situations, and this is the only reason Mr. Majors was arrested. We expect these charges to be dropped soon,” she said.

The lawyer also released a text message from the woman – redacted to protect her identity – in which she took the blame for the altercation.

“Please let me know you’re okay when you get this. They assured me that there will be no charge. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we had a fight. I am so angry that they did that. And I’m sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens to this. I told them it was my fault I tried to grab your phone. I just got out of the hospital. Just call me when you’re gone. I love you,” the text read.

Majors is expected to appear before a New York judge on May 8 on multiple counts of harassment and assault.
