Jonathan Majors’ ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari will be charged with assault – seven months after he was arrested for attacking the English dancer, according to reports.
The Creed III actor, 34, was arrested on March 25 on misdemeanor charges for allegedly assaulting dancer Jabbari, his former partner.
London-based Jabbari initially told police Majors had beaten and strangled her, but the strangulation charges were dropped. Now he is only accused of hurting her arm.
But 30-year-old Jabbari is now accused of assault, the newspaper reports Messengerwho cited sources within the New York Police Department.
The newspaper said Majors’ accuser would be charged with domestic violence and would report herself to the NYPD’s 10th Precinct, located in Chelsea.

Priya Chaudhry, Jonathan Majors’ attorney, could not comment Tuesday.
But she has previously demonstrated her firm belief that her client Majors is innocent and that Jabbari should be apprehended.
Majors’ next scheduled performance in Manhattan is October 25.
On August 4, Chaudhry said in a statement to DailyMail.com: “Jonathan Majors has been waiting 132 days to clear his name of these false charges, while the NYPD waits to arrest his accuser upon her return to New York.”
And on August 3, the attorney said, “One hundred and thirty-one days ago, authorities wrongfully handcuffed Jonathan Majors in his own home and hauled him off to jail based on the word of a woman now being hunted by the NYPD.
“Boldly, Jonathan Majors exposed to the NYPD the brutal, alcohol-fueled abuse he suffered at the hands of Grace Jabbari, an enduring nightmare in their relationship.
“As soon as Jabbari sets foot in New York again, the NYPD will be ready to arrest her.
“For four months, his life, career and reputation were torn apart for Jonathan Majors, the real victim of this shameful ordeal.
Grace Jabbari allegedly attacked the Creed actor first and reportedly admitted to being the aggressor in text messages
“Yet he remains steadfast in his determination to be freed from this harrowing ordeal.”
On June 27, she said the NYPD had found probable cause to arrest Jabbari.
Chaudhry said, “Last week, Mr. Majors met with the NYPD for the first time to present them with evidence about what really happened that night.
“Within hours of reviewing the evidence and conducting their own thorough investigation, the NYPD found probable cause to arrest Grace Jabbari for assaulting Jonathan Majors.”
On June 20, the lawyer called on the public prosecutor to “initiate proceedings against Ms. Jabbari and hold her accountable for her crimes.”
And on May 9, Chaudhry claimed that the fact that Majors was arrested and not Jabbari “highlights the racial biases that pervade the criminal justice system.”
Brad Edwards, Jabbari’s attorney, did not comment Tuesday.
On Tuesday, Variety reported that there may have been an unreported incident involving London police that may be relevant to the accuser’s domestic violence allegations, but they did not report what the incident was.
Jabbari admitted in text messages to Majors that she was the aggressor, according to screenshots of a conversation presented by the attorney. After the alleged attack, she was seen at nightclubs drinking and partying with friends.
Majors has always maintained his innocence.
In June, Majors filed his own domestic violence report against her, telling police he had been punched and scratched by a violent and “hysterical” Jabbari.
Majors, whose star was rapidly rising, was dropped by his management firm and PR firm after the charges were dropped.
The actor was arrested on March 25 on a misdemeanor charge for allegedly assaulting Grace Jabbari, his ex-girlfriend.
He has attended previous court hearings with his new girlfriend, actress Meagan Good.
In the immediate aftermath of the incident, Jabbari texted Majors to apologize.
“Please let me know if you have this. They assured me that I will not be charged. They said they had to arrest you as protocol when they saw the injuries on me and they knew we were arguing.
“I’m so angry that they did that. And I’m sorry you’re in this position. Will make sure nothing happens about this. I told them it was my fault for trying to take your phone… I just got out of the hospital… just call me when you’re out.”
The actor did not respond.
A few hours later, around 9:30 p.m., she sent another text message to Majors, telling him she had spoken to officials again.
In the text she wrote: ‘Reiterated that this was not an attack and that they do not have my blessing on any charges.’
