Jonathan Majors arrives at New York City court with girlfriend Meagan Good as he faces trial for assault and harassment

Actor Jonathan Majors arrived at a New York City courthouse with girlfriend Meagan Good for the start of his domestic violence trial.

The 34-year-old is charged with four felonies after being arrested following an alleged incident with his former partner, Grace Jabbari.

The Creed III actor arrived at Manhattan Criminal Court before the jury was selected for the trial.

He walked hand in hand with his new girlfriend Good, 42, who supported him during the hearing which started on Wednesday.

Majors made no comment as he took the field, but did turn to nod to a fan who shouted “good luck” as he walked by.

The Marvel star wore dark sunglasses, a suit and tie and a long black coat with a bright checked lining for the occasion.

Fellow actress Good opted for a similarly smart look and paired her black outfit and wool coat with round glasses.

The couple was first seen together in Los Angeles in April, weeks after Majors’ arrest.

They have been a united front ever since and were seen clinging together in New York on Tuesday ahead of the trial.

Majors is on trial over the alleged March 25 incident in which dancer Jabbari claims he attacked her and left her with an injured arm.

Majors has strongly denied the claims, with his legal representatives stating he is looking forward to ‘clearing his name’.

In addition to jury selection, the judge is expected to announce whether previously sealed evidence will be admitted into court.

Majors’ legal team has worked hard to argue that some of the material in the case should remain sealed.

The evidence is believed to be other women’s testimonies about their alleged abusive relationships with Majors – which could be used to prove that the suspect’s conduct is “inextricably intertwined with the acts charged,” reports Rolling stone.
In June, the outlet reported that Majors had physically and/or emotionally abused two previous romantic partners.

The allegations date back to his time at Yale Drama School and include one woman’s claims that he strangled her and comments from another woman who called their time together “emotional torture.”

The controversy caused a series of institutions and agents to drop the actor – and it caused problems with his upcoming work, particularly within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Earlier this year, Majors lost his request to dismiss his domestic violence charge, with the judge clearing the way for the case to go to trial.

According to court documents, the couple was sitting in a car when Jabbari saw a message on Majors’ phone that read, “I wish I kissed you right now.” She grabbed the phone, and Majors twisted her forearm and hit her ear.

Majors and actress Good, 42, were first spotted together in Los Angeles in April, just weeks after his arrest — and she was by his side during his court hearing in Manhattan

She tried to get out of the car and he “knocked her back inside,” leaving her in “continuing significant pain, including a broken finger, bruising around her body, a laceration behind her right ear and a bump on her head,” according to the documents. stands.

London-based Jabbari previously claimed she had also been strangled, but this was dropped from the complaint after police noticed only minor injuries to her arm.

The matter became even more complicated after Majors filed his own counter-complaint, claiming that it was Jabbari who attacked him.

But in October, Jabbari was arrested for allegedly hitting Majors after accusing the actor of assaulting her.

The 30-year-old presented himself in Manhattan’s 10th Precinct.
