Comedian Jon Richardson has agreed to a huge payout to his ex-wife Lucy Beaumont after they split.
Jon gave Lucy £1.625million when they ended their nine-year marriage in April.
The duo starred together in the mockumentary-style series Meet the Richardsons for seven years, amassing a fortune of £6 million.
However, documents from a company they ran together reveal that in June, two months after their split, Jon, 41, paid Lucy, 40, £1.625million for her shares in a company they ran together.
Jon even had to pay £8,125 in HMRC stamp duty after buying out her share in the company This Guy at Night Limited.

According to recently filed accounts, the company was worth £4 million last year and the couple are still listed as co-owners of a £1 million detached house with a swimming pool in Yorkshire and a £1 million apartment in an upmarket part of north London.
The couple, who have one daughter together, married in April 2015 and announced their split in April this year – just days after the launch of the fifth season of their comedy show Meet The Richardsons.
They started dating in 2013, after meeting through friend Roisin Conaty, and have since worked together on a number of shows, including Meet The Richardsons.
But four months ago, the couple said in a joint statement: “After 9 years of marriage, we would like to announce our separation. We have mutually and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.
In an interview last year, Lucy indicated that Meet the Richardsons would be ending.
She said, “This will probably be the last time, and we’re leaving with a good feeling.”
Last year, Lucy confessed that viewers often don’t understand that their fights aren’t real. She said: ‘It’s great, but I see comments on social media and people don’t seem to realise that it’s not real…
“I don’t pretend to keep him under my thumb. If I had been that mean to him in real life, we wouldn’t have lasted this long. You don’t want to see a smug couple in love, in a nice house, with a stable career and a sweet little kid. Who wants to see that?…
“I wouldn’t do it if we were like that. We’re showing the other side, where we’re constantly getting in each other’s way. It’s a more truthful representation…

‘The world around us is a bit bizarre, but I think people can still relate to it, and that’s good.’
Jon has now been given a major role following the shock split and has been a member of the Absolute Radio team since September.
It airs every Saturday morning at 8am, broadcasting from the show’s London studios or from his purpose-built studio in his stylish garden pub.
Jon is best known as team captain on the popular Channel 4 programme 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.
He also co-presents Down the Dog with Absolute Radio presenter Matt Forde, who has a Saturday afternoon show.
Last year, Lucy revealed that her career had been hampered by predatory men on the circuit, having been the target of attacks herself.
She said she had experienced “quite a few incidents” in her early years in the industry.
She confirmed the ‘blacklist’ of alleged offenders and said that some 15 men were responsible for the appalling behaviour.
Lucy said, when asked if there was anything holding her back, “Predatory male behavior.
‘I’ve had quite a few incidents where if you’re in another profession you’d go to HR, but there’s none. I think it’s just everywhere and it’s not talked about enough.
“It bothers me when I hear that young female comedians have the same experiences. For a while I thought it was the same five or six people – and now it’s not – I could tell you 10 or 15, because of course people talk.”

The writer and artist spoke about the topic on The Comedian’s Comedian Podcast in July.
She added: ‘In comedy, the biggest gossip goes around, so everyone knows it. And if you don’t know the gossip that I know now, you will soon.’
“It attracts such interesting, passionate, raw, edgy, wounded people – but it also attracts predatory men who are really messed up and have been sexually repressed for years. And they get a little bit of fame and engage in this behavior.
“It’s just covered up. Their agents know and the channels know and nobody seems to do anything about it.
“There have been times when I just wanted to go on Twitter and let people know who we were talking about, but I wasn’t allowed to say that.”
