Jon & Kate Plus 8 star Mady Gosselin has spoken out against her younger brother Collin, accusing him of “physical assault” in a shocking online statement after he came out to accuse their mother Kate of “abuse” while exposing the rift between himself and his siblings.
Mady, 22, took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday to reveal she’s been receiving a lot of “hate messages” following her sibling’s appearance in VICE TV’s new docuseries Dark Side of the 2000s – which was revealed exclusively by DailyMail.com.
Mady began by writing, “I never wanted to talk about this in order to allow my brother to live privately after the end of our family’s TV show, but I’ve been overwhelmed with hate messages these past few days and I feel like I need to set the record straight.”
“I do not owe my loyalty to persons who have physically threatened me and any member of my immediate family (some incidents as recent as last year).”
She continued, “Furthermore, I will never allow anyone into my life who has engaged in hateful and even violent behavior towards others based on their racial identity, gender identity or religious beliefs.

“Kindness, tolerance, love and acceptance are core values in my life and I refuse to compromise them for ANYONE, even my brother Collin who has unfortunately made his views very clear in private.
“For me, there is no longer a conversation about rebuilding relationships with anyone in my life after I reach the point of physical violence and hate speech.
“I can’t further say why Collin did these things, only that I witnessed them,” she claimed.
“I’ve had hundreds of people message my private accounts over the past few days with the most hurtful words imaginable, all without knowing the full truth of what we’ve been through.
“I ask for peace and privacy (and no more hate mail) in the future,” Mady added.
The statement comes after Collin scolded their mother Kate on the VICE TV docuseries.
The teen claimed his reality star mom put up “a social barrier” between him and his siblings.
Collin shot to fame with his seven siblings — twins Mady and Cara, now 22, and the sextuplets — on the reality TV show Jon & Kate Plus 8 when they were very young — but today they’re far from the happy family once depicted on TLC’s beloved show.

Bombshell statement: Mady also claimed that Collin ‘has made his views very clear in private’
“So, my mom, she’s very controlling. She’s determined, she knows what she wants and she gets what she wants,” he claimed in The Dark Side of the 2000s.
“I think my mother put a social barrier between us. She told them the story one way, and of course I see the story another way,’ Collin added.
After Jon and Kate’s acrimonious split in 2009, the eight children continued to live with their mother — until 2016, when Collin was sent to the Fairmont Behavioral Health Institute in Philadelphia.
His father Jon previously claimed that while Collin was “caged” for three years, his callous mother visited him only three times – less than two hours in total – while refusing to tell him where their son was.
Collin was later moved to another facility in Pittsburgh, and this is when Jon began a $1 million legal battle to get custody. He also won custody of Collin’s sister Hannah.
Unfortunately, the fallout from Collin’s custody battle caused a permanent rift between the Gosselin siblings.
Hannah, also 19, also spoke out on the docuseries, confirming that her siblings know about what happened to Collin.
“We didn’t speak to Collin for years while he was in the facility, we didn’t even know where he was,” she explained.

“That’s like a very dark part of our past. They don’t talk to Collin. Everyone eventually found out what happened to him, but now they’ve decided just not to have a relationship with him.”
Jon, 46, is also estranged from six of his children and has no idea why they don’t talk to him anymore.
“I don’t have access to the children I’m estranged from. I have no idea why they don’t come anymore, I don’t have answers, like none, it’s the worst,” Jon told VICE TV.
“I’d rather they say, ‘You’re an asshole, I hate you, you did this to Mommy…’ I got nothing, I got no closure.”
He also revealed that he spent $1 million on his legal battle to get custody of Collin, who currently lives with him.
But once Jon got custody and Collin moved in with him, the truth came out.
“That was very important to me because I couldn’t understand why my mother did that to one of our siblings, her own child,” Hannah said.
The teen has yet to respond to her older sister’s statement and instead posted two photos of herself on Instagram modeling in tight black cycling shorts.
With her long hair braided to the side and sunglasses clipped on, Hannah grinned for the camera and simply captioned the post: “texas gal,” alongside the cactus emoji.

Side note: Since leaving the world of reality TV, Collin has returned to his job in IT, but also doing DJ gigs
Meanwhile, her dad Jon took to his Instagram Stories to promote an upcoming DJ gig in Kissimmee, Florida, on July 28.
Since leaving the world of reality TV, the father of eight has returned to his job in IT, as well as DJing on the side.
Jon told DailyMail TV earlier in 2019 that he may never forgive Kate for sending his son away.
“Apart from ADHD, which is very common, Collin has never been diagnosed with any known medical condition. There is nothing wrong with him,” explains Jon.
“But Kate sent him away, she couldn’t handle him. He was alone for three and a half years, without parents, all locked up. It was inhumane.’
