Jon Hamm and Anna Osceola said “I do” almost six months ago at a wedding in Big Sur.
Now the 52-year-old Morning Show star has opened up and shared details about the special day.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, Jon said, “It only took me half a century, but I figured I might as well do it right.”
He added: “Due to our decision, the meeting was very sparsely attended. It was small. It was amazing.'
Jon also called the ceremony a “full Circle moment,” as he and his bride got married at the same location where they met on the set of Mad Men in 2015.

'It was very exciting. We did it this summer in beautiful Big Sur. It was a perfect day,” the veteran actor recalled.
The newlywed also revealed that he and his wife received a discount at the venue because of their connection to it.
“It had changed hands since then – this was about nine years ago, so it changed hands, but it's still a beautiful piece of property right on the Pacific Ocean,” the Hollywood hunk explained.
Hamm joked, “We got married on a cliff and chose to take the right path after we got married.”
The details continued as he noted that he and Anna wanted to marry someone taller than them: “My wife is about 6 feet tall, I'm a little over 6 feet tall, so we needed someone tall , was long.'
The couple went with a wedding officiant named John, a mutual friend of his and Kimmel and 6 feet tall.
After announcing the wedding details, Jon previewed their first Thanksgiving as a married couple.
The pair hosted 15 people for the holiday and there were two turkeys: “One was 16 (lbs) and one was 18 (lbs),” he said.

Hamm and Osceola's star-studded wedding was attended by the likes of Paul Rudd, Tina Fey, Kimmel and a host of other celebrities.
Hamm spoke about marriage during an episode of the Table for two podcastwhere he expressed his views on the institution.
“Ideally, it gives you and your partner a sense of stability and comfort and an identifying capacity that is better, deeper and richer than 'it's my girlfriend' or 'my boyfriend' or whatever,” he said.
The artist, who recorded the episode not long before his wedding ceremony, then spoke about his hopes for his life with Osceola. “It's exciting because it's all potential, it's all possible, and it's all positive.”
