Jon Gosselin admits to using Ozempic to lose over 30lbs in two months and now feels ‘amazing’: ‘Why didn’t I do this sooner?’

Jon Gosselin admitted that he used Ozempic to lose about 32 pounds in two months.

The Jon & Kate Plus 8 star, 47, revealed he started taking semaglutide, the generic form of Ozempic, in February and celebrated his results.

He said he feels “great” and only wishes he started “sooner” during an interview with Page six at the grand opening of the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center West Hollywood on Thursday evening.

‘You know what’s annoying? The regret of not starting it 10 years ago,” admitted the reality TV personality, who previously said he gained 35 pounds after quitting his job as an IT technician to pursue his dream of DJing become.

‘I feel amazing! Why haven’t I done this before? Maybe it wasn’t the right time,” he said, referring to his 2009 divorce from ex-wife Kate Gosselin and their contentious custody battle and child support disputes.

β€œA lot of emotional things happened and I went to court a lot, which was super expensive,” he recalls.

β€œIt just wasn’t a good time in my life,” he added. “But now I finally have time to focus on myself.”

In addition to helping him lose weight, he added that the diabetes drug also helped him drink less alcohol.

‘It’s really nice because it’s helped me stop drinking and it’s helped me control my appetite by eating less. That way I could really refocus my diet,” he explained.

β€œI just focused on consuming what I need to consume in a healthy way.”

He added that he has done body contouring and fat melting treatments to enhance his figure, but he is not interested in going under the knife.

“When it comes to actual surgeries like liposuction, I think, ‘Hell no.’ β€œI would never do something that is harmful to my body and that I don’t need,” he said, before adding that he would rather exercise.

β€œIf I have to run or do the elliptical or the Peloton or anything like that, that’s my responsibility. But I would never undergo voluntary surgery because I was lazy. That’s how I see it.’

He added that he just needs to develop healthier habits, like Ozempic helped him.

‘I’m not super overweight. I said to myself, “Dude, you need to stop eating fries. You just need to stop eating drive-thru food.”

He previously revealed that he had gained about 35 pounds as a result of his career change and his loving relationship with his girlfriend Stephanie Lebo.

β€œI’ve just become complacent about my health,” he said Entertainment tonight as he opened up about his diet and sleep schedule at the time.

He said he works late into the night as a DJ – from 10pm to 2am – about four to five nights a week.

As a result, he often picked up snacks and meals from gas stations late at night.

He added that his girlfriend contributed to his weight gain.

β€œI’m in a comfortable relationship,” he said. β€œI love my girlfriend, Stephanie. We just eat what we want, do what we want.”
