Jon Bon Jovi enjoys RARE date night with wife of 35 years Dorothea Hurley at celeb hot spot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica

Rocker Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Hurley were spotted at the famous hotspot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Friday evening.

The 61-year-old Bad Medicine singer – who is rarely seen on public dates with his 35-year-old wife – wore a white crew-neck sweater, jeans and a distressed leather jacket with a smile on his face.

His high school sweetheart wife, also 61, wore chic brown leather pants, a navy blue jacket and a white, gray and pink patterned scarf artfully draped over her torso.

The old couple – Stephanie’s parents, 30; Jesse, 28; Jake, 21; and Romeo, 19 – met friends for dinner while visiting Los Angeles.

Jon and Dorothea met in high school. “I was immediately attracted to her from the moment I saw her – and that has never changed – forty years ago,” he said People in 2020.

He said the key to their love story of more than 40 years is hard work and “mutual respect.”

‘Growing up together and growing together. And we really like each other. We want to hang out,” he told the outlet.

The couple first met in 1980 while attending Sayreville War Memorial High School in New Jersey, where the Runaway rocker admitted, “she let me cheat on her in history!”

‘I always said I was also good at seeing potential. I have a gift,” said Dorothea, his “rock,” adding, “He’s cute. I’m superficial. I admit!’

Jon added: ‘We enjoy each other and we’ve never fallen for the trappings of what celebrities can do.

‘We have seen this happen over the years to people close to us and to people we knew from afar.

‘It’s just what I do, it’s not who I am. I write songs. I happen to be very good at executing them. That’s it,’ he said.

The Wanted: Dead or Alive hitmaker was named MusiCares Person of the Year on Friday and will be honored on February 2 in Los Angeles.

The organization called the Bon Jovi singer ‘a rock ‘n’ roll pioneer who influenced countless artists over the years.’

But that’s not the only reason Jon is being honored. He is also a major philanthropist.

Jon and Dorothea have been running the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation since 2006.

The foundation aims to end hunger and homelessness through their pay-what-you-can Soul Kitchen restaurants and food bank.

Dorothea said: ‘It’s a partnership. When we see injustice or people suffering, you want to help. We are very blessed and we have the opportunity to do that.”

“I’m happiest,” Jon said, “when I like what I do for a living, I’m doing good for my family and making the world a little bit better.”
