Jollyes CEO Joe Wykes said his long-term goal is to reach £350m in revenue and have up to 250 stores.

His ambitions include enabling the company within the next four to five years.

“I feel like we can do what Pets at Home did, only better,” he claimed.

Pets at Home was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2014 and is now valued at almost £2 billion with over 450 stores across the UK. The share price has risen by 20 percent in the past year.

Jollyes has a much smaller presence than Pets at Home, but Wykes is confident his company is “making a dent in their ambitions.” “We feel like we’re hurting them,” he said.
