Joku-usin Shrine location and walkthrough in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Joku-usin Shrine is inside The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom‘s Faron Grasslands heaven.

Our guide will help you find the location of the Joku-usin Shrine, solve the puzzles and guide you through the “Test area: short circuitTaste to collect the breast and Light of blessing.

Traveling to the Joku-usin Shrine can be a bit tedious as the surrounding Sky Islands are in a perpetual thunderstorm. You may need to provide some shock resistance and adjust your arsenal to include shock resistant equipment (weapon, bow and shield).

Location Joku-usin Shrine

The Joku-usin Shrine is located in the Faron Grasslands Sky region. The exact coordinates for the Joku-usin Shrine are (1074, -3347, 0786). As you progress through the main story, you may come across the Joku-usin Shrine by chance, but if not, you may have to make an effort to reach this location.

The Joku-usin Shrine can be found on the Thunderhead Islandsthat is cloudy in a storm on the southern part of the Sky map.

How to get to the Joku-usin Shrine

To reach the Joku-usin Shrine, you can use the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower or ride a piece of fallen debris into the Sky layer with Recall.

From the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, head southwest into the storm to find the Thunderhead Isles. If you decide to slide over from the skyview tower, you’ll need either Tulin’s ability or two stamina upgrades.

Continue through the islands until you reach the island just below the island with the device dispenser. The island above you has translucent walls, which allow you to see the inside of the Joku-usin Shrine. To get in, you need to create a train car and then use Ascend to rise through the floor.

On this island you will find a few wooden pallets and a few fans. Place one of the wooden pallets flat on the floor and attach one of the wooden planks vertically to the front, as shown in the picture above. Place your creation on top of the rails so that the vertical plank fits between the rails.

Grab one of the fans you find on the island and attach it to your creation so that the fan pushes your device forward. Activate the fan to make your vehicle move and deactivate it just before you get under the island. Use Ascend to ascend to the island to find the Joku-usin Shrine.

Joku-usin shrine walkthrough

The Joku-usin Shrine blends in very well with its outdoor environment: you use electric weapons to shock all the structures inside. In this “Proving Grounds” challenge, all your equipment will be taken away, but you will at least get some wooden sticks.

In the challenge “Proving Grounds: Short Circuit” you must beat five soldier constructions And a Soldier Construct III. You can attack each Construct head-on with your wooden sticks, or take advantage of the Shock Fruit to take down the regular Soldier Constructs in one hit.

One of the Soldier Constructs is also equipped with a shock absorber mace that will help you take down the Soldier Construct III.

When you run out of shock weapons and shock fruits, fuse wooden sticks with the Construct horns or take out the Constructs with your bow. Once every enemy is defeated, the exit will open and a chest containing one electro elixir. Then you can complete the shrine and pick you up Light of blessing.
