Jojo Siwa reveals she’s in talks to represent Poland at Eurovision… as unimpressed fans declare the country ‘has already lost’
Jojo Siwa has announced that she is in talks to represent Poland at the Eurovision Song Contest. But not everyone thinks it’s a good idea.
The 21-year-old singer told her fans on TikTok on Monday that she hopes to represent her country in next year’s song contest.
The American reality star, whose father is of Polish descent, says she is already discussing the move with organizers and may even have a song planned.
However, fans were not happy with the news and took to social media to express their concerns that Jojo could damage Poland’s chances.
During the announcement, Jojo wore a black hoodie and had her hair braided as she spoke directly into the camera.

But fans are not happy with the news and have taken to social media to express concern that Jojo could harm Poland’s content prospects.
She said: ‘Someone asked if I would do it at Eurovision because it went viral in Poland and then someone asked: “Are you going to do this at Eurovision?” I initially jokingly replied to the comments with: “Yes”.
“But now it’s really become a conversation and the Eurovision Song Contest is involved. We’re talking to people in Poland, because each country decides who’s going to represent that country. So we’ve talked to everyone.
‘And there’s a lot to it, there’s a lot of logistics involved. One of the biggest logistical challenges is that I have a project that I’m working on when the Eurovision Song Contest actually takes place. But if Poland wants it, maybe I can make both projects happen at the same time.
‘If Poland wants me to represent them, I will do it 1000 percent.
‘Also at Eurovision you can’t play a song that’s been heard before, so I thought about it and I came up with an idea for a song that I would play 100 percent. I can’t wait, I can’t wait. I think it would be so much fun.’
Last year Nemo won the competition with The Code.
The final, held in Malmö, Sweden, was won by the first openly non-binary act to represent Switzerland, whose song addressed gender rules and Nemo’s own experiences with gender identity.
While Jojo couldn’t contain her excitement about her latest career move, fans weren’t exactly impressed.
Many expressed their disappointment over the proposal via X, formerly Twitter.

Fans responded to X by suggesting that if Jojo represented Poland they would lose out straight away and some even questioned why she would interfere in the European Song Contest
Others added: ‘I think Poland already lost’; ‘I find it hard to believe someone asked for this, lol’.
The star recently flew to Poland to perform and revealed that her song, Yesterday’s Tomorrow’s Today, is trending in the country.
And now that her song is gaining popularity, the Dance Moms star is turning more and more to her Polish roots. She shared a video of herself singing her hit Karma acapella in Polish in the car, asking her Polish fans for help with the pronunciation.
On Monday, the singer posted a number of photos of herself in the Eastern European country on Instagram.
In one of the photos, the star posed with a Polish flag in a square, while wearing a black and orange tank top.
In another photo from the same day, the star pouts at the camera as she walks through a city, showing off her tattoos and “Poland” bracelet, before stopping for a photo in an old doorway, smiling in the sunshine.
She captioned the photo: ‘Thank you Poland for the most beautiful day.’ in English and Polish.

The American singer and dancer rose to fame at the age of nine when she first took to the stage as a contestant on the reality TV show Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition.
And 11 years later, JoJo Siwa is reportedly worth $20 million after a series of lucrative deals, including a hair care line with her signature big bows and even a podcast.
JoJo — real name Joelle Joanie Siwa — has built up a legion of fans over the past decade and become a household name thanks to her various TV roles. She joined Nickelodeon in 2017, signing a “general talent deal” with the network that has also helped her land product deals.
In 2019, the teenager briefly appeared on an episode of the hugely popular reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where she spent time with Kim Kardashian and her eldest child, North West, who was six at the time.
The following year, she competed on The Masked Singer as T-Rex, appeared on Celebrity Watch Party and competed on the 2021 series of Dancing With The Stars, where she finished second as part of the first same-sex dance partnership in the show’s history, partnering with Jenna Johnson.

This isn’t the first time fans have been outraged by Jojo’s performances.
In June, the singer was booed during New York City Pride.
In response to the hostile crowd, she shouted, “Who the f*** just booed me? Where the f*** did that come from? Which one of you? Which one of you?
‘With all due respect, f*** you!’
The two-time Emmy Award nominee for Outstanding Children’s Film, who also dramatically downed a bottle of whiskey, claimed she wakes up “every day” and people online tell her she should go to jail.
“People say I’m a man. People tell me to stop shaking when I dance, and I’m like, ‘F*** you.’ People ask me if I haven’t learned anything. And I’m like, ‘Of course not,'” JoJo added.
“But the point is, nobody knew how to deal with the assholes of the world better than I did when I was 12 years old.”
