JoJo Siwa resurfaces after apparently going ‘missing’ for a month – sparking mixed concerns from fans
JoJo Siwa emerged after social media users theorized that the star had been ‘missing’ for over a month.
The 21-year-old Dance Moms alum made light of the rumors when she headed out for coffee in Los Angeles wearing a weird “Missing Persons” shirt.
The ‘missing’ person was JoJo herself, with the T-shirt stating she was ‘last seen’ on October 8, 2024, along with a photo of her at the Industry Dance Awards.
During the show, which took place on October 8, JoJo appeared on stage and took part in a TikTok trend to thank Beyonce.
Although JoJo has posted sporadically on social media since then and even appeared at the Gala of the Stars event the next day, fans have spent the past month wondering if she had disappeared.
But JoJo herself put the rumors to bed when she stepped out for a cup of joe earlier this week on Sunday.

JoJo paired her crazy shirt with a sparkly bucket hat, polka dot pajama pants and lace-up boots.
Social media users have taken to Twitter to express their concerns about JoJo’s whereabouts in recent weeks.
“Is JoJo still missing or have we found her,” someone posted.
“Is Jojo Siwa still missing?” asked another.
“JOJO SIWA IS MISSING SOMETHING IN THE WORLD,” someone exclaimed.
One was a bit more dismissive of the rumors: “So apparently JoJo Siwa is missing and/or in hiding and I still don’t care.”
The outing took place just one day before JoJo announced her new song, Iced Coffee.
The star unveiled the song during a performance at Brown University on Monday and even sang the new song.

She talked about how her online platform offers fans a piece of her daily life.
‘That’s kind of how I plan my career. I keep it entertaining because that’s what I was put on this earth to do, and that’s what I want to do,” she said at the event, according to the Brown Daily Herald.
“It’s all from me though. There is definitely a more emotional side of me,” she added.
‘I live a great life and I like to share it. Yes, there is more, but what you see is what you get.’
Meanwhile, JoJo recently revealed how her dating philosophy has changed over the years — and what led her to let people know about her relationship with new girlfriend Dakayla Wilson.
Siwa got her start on the hit reality show Dance Moms and later became a viral social media sensation when she signed with Nickelodeon in 2017 when she was 14.
She grabbed an iced coffee a day before announcing her new single “Iced Coffee.”
In January 2021, when she was 17 years old, she came out as part of the LGBTQ+ community – and now she’s opening up about how she wants to portray her relationships.
“You know, it’s interesting. My mom always told me, “The whole world doesn’t need to know everything, JoJo. Some things you can keep secret,” Siwa recently said during a panel at Rhode Island Comic Con on Friday, according People.
And Siwa agreed with her mother at the time, but now seems to share a different feeling about being a public figure.
“Secrets are hard to keep,” she admitted during the panel, according to the outlet.
‘It’s so hard to keep up. When you’re so passionate about something… I was actually born to share my life with the world, and I’m okay with that and I enjoy that.”

She explained that when she first came out, she had a “great relationship” with then-girlfriend Kylie Prew, which ended in a breakup – something she puts down to the fact that they were both young at the time.
However, it was her next relationship that influenced the way she chose to share her love with the world.
‘But then I had a public relationship with someone else that wasn’t the best. It kind of seemed like it was the best, but it really wasn’t the best,” Siwa said.
“And then, after it ended, it really wasn’t the best. And it just made me scared to share relationships publicly.”
Afterwards, the Karma singer said she promised herself she wouldn’t openly share her romances again.
And it turns out it worked: Siwa revealed during the panel that before dating Wilson, she had two “flings” and was in a serious relationship that no one knew about.
However, when she met Wilson, who placed second on season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance, everything felt different.
“I was comfortable going public with her,” the former Dance Moms star told People about her new relationship.
