When the 21-year-old singer appeared on the cover of LadyGunn, she made sure all eyes were on her as she showed off her muscles in a rhinestone-encrusted chest plate shaped like a muscular male torso.
Taking things one step further, in a second photo she paired a gold breastplate with a matching thong featuring rhinestones and phallic details.
She caused a storm of reactions online and divided fans’ opinions as she quickly went viral.

The new photos come after JoJo came out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community in January 2021 and the negative impact it had on her career.
JoJo told the singer in her documentary about Demi Lovato’s Child Star, “I didn’t realize that there had never been a child star who had come out before, and she still is.
“The president of the network called me and said something like, ‘What are we going to tell the kids? What are we going to tell the kids and the parents?’
“And he said something like, ‘Well, you need to call every retailer and tell them you’re not going crazy.’ So I did that and I called every retailer.”
