A woodcutter who built his own Hobbit House has revealed that he has never seen The Lord of the Rings and lives almost offline despite being almost 90 years old.
Great-grandfather Stuart Grant, 89, moved into the cottage in Tomich, near Inverness, which he bought in a mess with no roof or doors in 1984, while renovating a house.
But she found DIYing the quirky 200-year-old outbuilding so satisfying that she decided to make it her home.
