Johnny Ruffo’s longtime girlfriend Tahnee Sims shared a touching tribute to him on Monday to mark six years since he was first diagnosed with brain cancer.
Tahnee, 29, posted a heartwarming video tribute to Instagram showing off some of the highs and lows they’ve been through as a couple.
The video begins with the Home and Away star, 35, getting stitches on his forehead at the doctor’s office, then cuts to some adorable snaps of the lovebirds together.
Tahnee captioned the images with some precious words.

It didn’t take long for many of Johnny’s celebrity friends to dish out the adorable tribute.
“Couldn’t be prouder, my man,” wrote Nova radio host Michael “Wippa” Wipfli as The Bachelor star Anna Robards posted some love heart emojis.
Johnny regularly posts updates about his cancer treatment to his 261,000 Instagram followers.

Earlier this year, he started another round of chemotherapy and posted a photo of himself undergoing treatment at the hospital with his girlfriend Tahnee by his side.
The actor put on a brave face, smiled and gave thumbs up while sitting in a chair.
“Back in my favorite chair,” he wrote sarcastically alongside the hashtags #ihatethischair and #f**kcancer.

Johnny was first diagnosed with brain cancer in 2017 after going to the hospital with painful migraines.
In August of that year, he had emergency surgery and a 7cm brain tumor was surgically removed from his frontal lobe before undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
The former X Factor star went on to praise his partner Tahnee, calling her his ‘guardian angel’ and saying he doesn’t know what he would do without her.
Johnny went into remission months after his initial diagnosis in 2017, but revealed in November 2021 that the disease had returned.
