Johnny Depp’s first wife, Lori Allison, has labeled Amber Heard “heinous” after the defamation lawsuit.
Lori married Johnny in 1983, when he was just 20 and she was 25, and the couple divorced just two years later.
Still, the pair have remained close, with Lori revealing that seeing him in court “broke her heart” and she was “terrified” that he would lose.
While Lori has stayed out of the limelight to respect Johnny’s wishes for privacy, she didn’t hesitate to share her feelings about the legal battle.

Lori revealed, “I’d met her before, I’d been to parties at his house and she seemed really nice and she was gorgeous and what’s not to love?
“But as time went on and I heard things about her – she who will not be named – he didn’t always seem too happy. I haven’t seen him much so I can’t really say.
“The things that touched me more were the things he said in court — I probably broke down several times because I really felt sorry for him.
“He’s very private – that’s why I don’t do interviews – and I think it was really necessary for him to come out so honestly.
“I thought it was either going to be an epic train wreck or it was going to be really good.”
Lori seemed to refer to Isaac Baruch, one of Johnny’s best friends who testified on his behalf in court, continuing: “I called Isaac sometimes and said, “What’s the matter, are you okay?”
And he said “don’t worry we’re going to win this” and I literally hung up and walked around crying because I was terrified of him.
“I think it would have killed him, maybe not, but it just broke my heart that someone could do that to him.
“I’m no angel, I’ve done my share of s****y things to people, but what she did was absolutely horrific and if there were things I could do to her that were illegal I would do them!” I would.’
MailOnline has reached out to Amber’s representatives for comment.
Lori said of Amber, “What she did was absolutely horrific and if there were things I could do to her that were illegal I would do them!” I would’
Later in the chat, Lori was full of kind words for her ex and admitted that she has fond memories of their time together.
She said, ‘He’s really generous, he has the biggest heart of anyone I’ve ever met. I love him dearly and it drives me crazy thinking about him and his future, our past.
“I want nothing but the best for him and I hope he feels the same way about me!”
‘Can I say bad things about him? I can say bad things about anyone, but there’s no need to. He makes normal mistakes, just like other people.
“But then again, he’s generous, kind, and I can’t wait to be in a room with him again because I love cuddling him.”
In 2016, 36-year-old Amber famously accused Johnny of domestic violence and the actor lost a libel case in the UK after suing The Sun for calling him a ‘wife beater’.
The star was subsequently blacklisted by much of Hollywood, resulting in the loss of movie roles.
But after Johnny’s defamation suit against Amber in 2022, the star got Hollywood’s attention again.
A jury determined that Amber’s claims, which were published in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed against Johnny, were defamatory and she was ordered to pay the actor $15 million in damages.
Johnny was ordered by the same court to pay Amber $2 million after Heard filed a counter-suit for libel.
The actress appealed in early December, but the former couple recently came to an agreement that Amber would pay $1 million to settle the case instead of going into a third trial.
