John Travolta stars in a new Super Bowl ad for T-Mobile alongside Zach Braff and Donald Faison and pays tribute to Olivia Newton-John, who passed away six months ago at the same time.

The 68-year-old Pulp Fiction actor performed a parody of Grease’s hit song Summer Nights with the two Scrubs actors.

In the commercial, Travolta, who starred opposite Newton-John in the 1978 film Grease, has just moved into the neighborhood where Braff, 47, and Faison, 48, live.

As the Saturday Night Fever star laments the difficulties of setting up the internet at home, Faison and Braff show up and sing along with the star to the hit song.

They convince Travolta that setting up his internet with T-Mobile will be easy as they sing the song.

He then ends the song by striking a pose that resembles one associated with him through his movie Saturday Night Fever.

Braff and Faison discussed working with the two-time Academy Award nominee during an interview with People.

“Listen, I have a really hard time meeting other actors or peers and things like that,” Faison admitted. “I get excited for anyone and everyone, but I’ll tell you this: if you’re in my top five, top 10, I’m going to go crazy. Travolta is in my top five and I went nuts.

Braff added that he used to have a Welcome Back lunch box, Kotter. Travolta starred in the sitcom from 1975 to 1979, and is considered her breakout role.

“We had a chat earlier,” Braff continued. “I told him, ‘Donald, calm down. Don’t start asking questions about the movies until we’ve got this figured out.'” Ten seconds later, he starts asking questions about Face/Off. I say, “Brother, we had an argument.”

The couple spent two days filming the ad alongside Travolta, who they called “generous” with his time and stories. She even helped the couple pull off the dance moves in the commercial.

“We have an amazing choreographer and fill-in dancers who are teaching us, but then John does it and you’re like, ‘Oh, how can I look like that?'” Braff explained. “And it’s particularly the movements that we’re paying homage to in Grease.”

Travolta played Danny Zuko, the bad boy of Rydell High School, in the hit film alongside Newton-John, who died last year at age 73.
