Several of John’s 4.3 million followers left messages of support in the comments.

Billy previously appeared on stage with his father in March 2023, during another Beach Boys show.

The Endless Summer Gold Tour marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic band’s eponymous album, which was released on June 24, 1974.

John joined the music collective from May 30th to June 20th and again from July 5th to 7th.

He will return for a new series of live shows from August 30 to September 1, ABC news reported in May.

Stamos also paid tribute to his late father this past weekend, who passed away more than twenty years ago.

Sharing a video clip on stage, with a guitar slung over his shoulder, he wrote in the caption: ‘I lost my dad 23 years ago today. This song is called Forever – and that’s how long love should last.’

“You know, the things that separate us seem small compared to what brings us together,” he told the audience in the outtake, a lump forming in his throat. “Music unites us and it’s so personal, yet so universal.”
