The Purple Wiggle’s Adult Fan Hustle Revealed, Shocking His ‘Mummy’ Fans: ‘I Can’t Look At Him The Same’

  • John Pearce has been the Purple Wiggle since 2021
  • The 31-year-old is also a key member of dance-pop band Justice Crew

Australians are stunned after hearing about the Purple Wiggle’s lucrative side business.

John Pearce, who has become a household name since joining the Wiggle family, was caught on camera singing “Que Sera” at a nightclub in April.

Appearing alongside his twin brother, Len, the heavily tattooed Wiggle proved he can handle any crowd, from toddlers to 18+ crowds in clubs and bars.

The 31-year-old hunk is a member of the Aussie dance-pop band Justice Crew who are best known as winners of the fourth season of Australia’s Got Talent.

Pearce is widely known as part of the children’s band The Wiggles, which he joined in 2021 when the band expanded to eight members from four.

And it didn’t take long for parents, namely mothers, to notice the young Sydneysider’s talents.

Now John famously wears the purple skivvy and promotes his keen interest in health and science as part of the kid band.

His wobbly transition makes him wear more long sleeves and high necklines.

Many of his “new mom” fans were shocked to hear him sing the iconic Justice Crew song.

“I don’t know how this happened, but the nostalgia was real,” said Kaitai, a fan.

The dance-pop band has not released an album since 2014 and their last tour was in 2019.

“In my mind he will forever be Justice Crew,” said one fan.

“I love that he’s ‘the Purple Wiggle’ now, but he and Lenny were part of Justice Crew before he was a Wiggle,” another commented.

‘[John] and his brother sang Justice Crew songs on the Wiggles reunion tour!’ revealed one fan. ‘It was amazing.’

Some were just happy to hear the beloved band perform live again.

“I have so much nostalgia when I hear the songs again after so many years,” one woman wrote.

“I wish Justice Crew got back together,” added another. “I remember seeing them dancing and street dancing in Darling Harbour!”

One fan commented, “I miss turning on the TV and seeing them perform – they were one of my favorites!”

Others refused to admit that times have changed.

“John will forever be Justice Crew to me,” said one woman. “The Purple Wiggle will always be Jeff.”

‘I am old. I read Purple Wiggle and thought Jeff,’ said one fan.

A third said, “I thought we’d see my boy Jeff, where’s my nostalgia?”

John also appeared in the popular Ninja Warrior series.

He has become a viral sensation on TikTok where he shares videos about being the Purple Wiggle.
