“Anyway, after I just finished GMA, I got a message from Dr. Tess, with some urgency to return to Los Angeles as I had 2 locations on My Skin, Shoulder & Forearm, one of which was Melanoma, which would require surgery ASAP!
“So instead of going home to put up my Christmas tree and end the year happily, relaxing at home, I flew straight back to Los Angeles after all my work in New York was done.
‘And [I] went straight from LAX airport to the operating room, with a surgeon recommended by Dr. Tess, who spent several hours cleaning me up and operating on me, with large margins, in the hope that at the end of the day we would have clear margins, which would mean you are free of cancer…
‘The operation was a success, but we still need the results of the biopsy, which we may not get until before Christmas…
‘First of all, I am very grateful to Doctor Tess and Doctor Tim for being able to coordinate this operation at such short notice, but again, hopefully Saving My Life…
‘You can never have too much confidence in circumstances like this, but we all believe Dr Tim saved the day… So fingers crossed for now.
“Obviously, good news would be the best Christmas present ever… Which I have hope for… But I just want to say that this is also a timely reminder to everyone: please get checked out by your doctor…
“It only takes a short time to do that, and in the end you might save your own life… so please, for the sake of yourself, your family and friends, just go to your doctor and do what you need to.” be ready…
‘I love life and I want to live a very long time and this is a way, and a choice, that could determine your future… I wish you all a happy holiday and a healthy long life… Love to everyone ‘
