John Fury THROWS a glass of water at Darren Till as the former UFC star’s press conference with Tommy Fury descends into chaos – as Liverpudlian threatens to ‘kick him in the face’

Chaotic scenes unfolded on Tuesday night at the press conference announcing Tommy Fury’s fight against Darren Till.

Fury will make his long-awaited return to boxing in the new year when he takes on former UFC star Till at the Co-Op Live Arena in Manchester on January 18.

The former Love Island contestant has not stepped foot in the ring since his controversial victory over YouTuber boxer KSI in October last year.

Fury was tipped to appear on this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! but reports say he backed out for a more lucrative offer.

And when the fighters faced off for the first time since the fight was announced, things got dramatic with John Fury once again at the center of the action.

As Fury and Till traded insults, both camps had to be restrained as things got nasty, with John seen throwing a glass of water at Till.

However, it had limited effect, leaving Tommy soaked by his father, but it still enraged Till, who was seen trying to attack the 59-year-old.

The Liverpudlian was held back by security guards, with John showing no signs of backing down as he tried to confront his son’s opponent after taking off his jacket.

The clash came after a heated press conference where the pair repeatedly exchanged insults.

Fury had taunted Till, saying: ‘Listen Darren, you’ve got to walk into the line of fire, mate.’

Till replied, “If I can’t beat you in the end, I’ll just kick you in the face, how about that?”

“Well, that’s not going to happen, is it Darren,” Fury replied. “Because now we are not in the cage, but in the boxing ring, you will find that boxing is very different from MMA.”

This didn’t deter Till, who continued to threaten his opponent, saying, “Well, that’s obviously true, how are you going to stop me?”

“If I lose the fight, I’ll kick you right in the face. You won’t know what hit you.’

Fury then said: “If you kick me right in the face, it’s going to be a real fight, isn’t it.”

“But then I’ll win because I’m a real fighter,” Till added. ‘I don’t walk into a room like that and say ‘s***’.

“None of the people here are a threat to me. Security, you and your father pose no threat to me.

“I’m an MMA fighter, so if I’m going to kick you or elbow you in the face, I’m going to do it, and no one can do anything about it, so what’s the deal?”

Until then, Fury continued to taunt saying, “Tommy, you have the IQ of a loaf of bread.

‘What are you talking about? You’re empty-headed,” before John launched his attack through his glass of water.

That came after John also exchanged insults with Till, with John calling him ‘pig eyes’, before Till referred to him as ‘little John’, as the pair repeatedly exchanged insults.

John had said: ‘Keep my son Tyson’s name out of your mouth’ before calling him ‘pig’s eyes’ eight times.

He then branded Till a ‘disgrace to Liverpool’ and ‘with the face of a ****’.

Till had responded by claiming, “Tyson came to spar with me and I treated him like a baby. No one’s seen you since Usyk knocked out Tyson. Where have you been, little John?

“Go back where the fuck you came from, buddy. Little John, shut up.”

Through all the barbs, KSI, the CEO of Misfits Boxing – the promotion organizing the fight – was seen laughing and enjoying himself as anticipation only builds ahead of January’s main event.
