John Fetterman’s dire ‘Iron Man’ warning to Democrats about Elon Musk’s sway in swing state Pennsylvania

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania issued a stark warning to Democrats about the influence Elon Musk has on voters in his critical swing state.

The 55-year-old lawmaker said the world’s richest man has had an undeniable impact, even comparing Musk to Marvel’s billionaire industrialist comic book and movie character ‘Tony Stark’ – aka ‘Iron Man’ – in the eyes of voters of the swing state.

“Musk is a concern,” he told the newspaper New York Post. ‘Not even just what he endorsed [Trump]but the fact that he’s now becoming an active participant and showing up and doing rallies and things like that.”

Fetterman’s warning comes as forecasters continue to say the presidential race will be decided by a razor-thin margin, and that the winner of Pennsylvania — a statistical tie in the latest DailyMail.com poll — will likely capture the White House.

Although Musk has been an avid supporter of Donald Trump since the summer, the billionaire has taken on a more public role in recent weeks, including joining the former president on stage at his rallies.

And Fetterman said this shift has raised concerns among Pennsylvania Democrats, saying, “I think some people would see him as a Tony Stark.”

“I mean, (Musk) is incredibly successful,” he continued.

“Democrats, you know, make light of it a little bit, or they make jokes about him jumping up and down and things like that. And I would just say that they do so at their own risk.”

Fetterman warned Democrats that Pennsylvania will be “ridiculously close,” saying any factor — such as the $75 million Musk has put into his pro-Trump SuperPAC — could sway the entire election.

“Pennsylvania chooses the president,” he added.

“Trump has a connection that is undeniable. And anyone who spends any time in Pennsylvania can see that kind of dedication and so it will be very close.”

Fetterman warned Democrats against “making fun” of Musk’s antics, such as his tendency to jump up and down at events, saying they would do so “at their own risk.”

Fetterman was a staunch supporter of President Biden, but has recently thrown her weight behind Kamala Harris’ campaign, saying she “couldn’t have run a better campaign than she has so far.”

Although he has campaigned for Kamala Harris in recent weeks, Fetterman has been a staunch supporter of President Biden and was one of his last supporters to stay in the presidential race before dropping out in July.

He told the Post that he still believes Biden would beat Trump had he stayed in the race, saying, “I want to remind everyone that Biden is the only person to ever beat Trump.”

He said the days leading up to Biden’s departure were a “total blowtorch,” and suggested the president had been stabbed in the back.

“You had the Democratic side, you had the constant, right-wing media, and then the celebrities got involved too. And then the New York Times also became the ‘he has to go’ channel,” he said.

Fetterman, however, insisted he fully supports Harris’ candidacy as he campaigns with her.

“Harris couldn’t have run a better campaign than she has to date,” he concluded.
