The Pennsylvania senator, who has already suffered a stroke, is currently undergoing tests at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington DC.
A spokesman for the politician said on Wednesday night: “Towards the end of the Democratic retreat from the Senate today, Senator John Fetterman began to feel dizzy.
“He left and called his staff, who picked him up and took him to The George Washington University Hospital.
“Initial tests showed no evidence of a new attack, but doctors are running more tests and John will remain overnight for observation.
“He is in a good mood and talking to his staff and family.”
