John Farnham seen for the first time since oral cancer surgery as he celebrates Christmas with family
John Farnham looked in good spirits as he celebrated Christmas with his family on Sunday.
The 74-year-old, who is recovering from surgery for oral cancer, hugged his wife Jill as he sat down for a family meal in a photo shared to Instagram.
He was surrounded by his sons and family members, who wore Christmas-themed bibs and Santa hats.
In August, Farnham revealed he is cancer-free, 12 months after oral surgery.
In his first personal statement since the procedure, the music superstar said he was finally in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his loving family, and felt like “the happiest man I know.”

“It's been a year since my first surgery and honestly I've lost count of how many other procedures there have been since then,” he said.
“I'm sure someone has kept track of them all, let's just say there's been a few.”
'But I'm home now and I'm a very grateful and happy man. I'm sitting here in my living room enjoying the attention of my beautiful wife Jill, my boys Rob and James and my mini Schnauzer, Edmund.',
Farnham's family had previously provided updates on behalf of the Australian music legend.
John revealed he is cancer free, 12 months after undergoing oral surgery earlier this year
Speaking on Sunrise, John's son Robert Farnham said his father was 'doing fantastic' after a 12-hour operation for throat cancer.
“The other day he walked around with his cane and did a little dance, which was pretty fantastic,” Robert said.
'He walks a lot with his dog, so he is very happy. He's doing really well, he's super positive,” he told Sunrise.
The That's Freedom hitmaker was hospitalized earlier this year after developing a chest infection following surgery to remove a cancerous tumor in his mouth.
