British comedy legend John Cleese has announced he will be heading to Down Under in July for his final tour.

The Fawlty Tower star’s latest show may leave audiences guessing just how funny it will be, as the title, An Evening With The Late John Cleese, suggests that some of the topics could be quite bleak.

However, at age 83, Cleese has seriously questioned what comes after life, and this new show will see him discuss death and the afterlife with audiences.

He will also be joined by his daughter Camilla Cleese as he tells stories from his illustrious comedy and acting career, which spans more than 50 years.

The show’s organizers, Bohm Presenters, have described it as a chance for fans to get “up close and personal” with the Oscar-winning star.
