John Cena makes shock appearance on the RAW after WrestleMania to tag team with his ‘biggest fan’… as the Hollywood star reveals when he’s aiming to have ONE final WWE in-ring run

  • John Cena has not been working full-time for a few years and is flourishing in Hollywood
  • He wants to have one more big run in WWE before officially calling it a day
  • Cena interrupted the main event at WrestleMania 40 and tagged in on RAW

John Cena appeared in the now legendary main event of WrestleMania 40 on Sunday night, but he decided to stay in Philadelphia for one more night.

The 16-time world champion now spends more time in Hollywood than in the ring, but he made one last pit stop at RAW after WrestleMania before returning to the big screen.

Longtime rivals R-Truth and The Miz found themselves in a handicap match with Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh after Truth teased that their partner was someone “you can’t see.”

Wink, wink. Cena’s famous catchphrase is “you can’t see me” and Truth has said for years that his hero growing up was John Cena… despite being six years older than him.

As the brand new RAW tag team champions were taking a beating, Cena’s music hit, he ran to the ring and got the hot tag to drive the Wells Fargo Center wild.

Cena immediately turned the tide. All three men finished in the ring and did Cena’s five-knuckle shuffle before doing stereo Attitude Adjustments. All three Miz, Cena and Truth simultaneously pinned Judgment Day members to pick up the win.

Earlier in the day, Cena spoke on the Pat MacAfee show and emphasized that he’s trying to make one last run in the ring next year.

“I have to leave for Europe to finish a movie we started filming before the strike called Heads of State with Priyanka Chopra and Idris Elba, straight from there to (filming) Peacemaker 2.

‘Then we’ll be just about at Christmas. I’m crossing my fingers, toes and my heart that maybe, just maybe, I can tell the Hollywood world to take the breaks for a while and come back to my family for one last run.

“I’m trying, I hope so, we’ll see what happens,” Cena said.

With his appearance on RAW, Cena has had a WWE match every year since 2002.
