Joey King beamed as she walked hand in hand with her husband Steven Piet, 40, on Thursday.

They attended the Max Mara RTW Spring 2025 fashion show during Milan Fashion Week.

The 25-year-old Uglies star wore a long gray dress with long sleeves, a collar, ruffles in the bodice and a cutout on one side of her waist.

As accessories, she wore thick silver hoop earrings and a small black clutch bag.

The Ramona and Beezus star wore her brunette hair parted in the middle, straight and tucked behind her ears to show off her earrings.

Her husband, to whom he had been married for a year, looked handsome in a white suit with subtle vertical stripes in blue and yellow on either side of the lapel.

Joey and Steve celebrated their first wedding anniversary on September 2.

Traditionally, paper is the gift of choice for such a milestone and the Kissing Booth star got creative when it came to his anniversary present.

“I found the newspaper a year after my husband was born,” Joey said E! News, “which is super cool.”

“I read it and thought, ‘Oh, that’s funny,’” she shared. “It’s a cool thing.”

She said the newspaper had a “really strange” headline, but it totally suited the couple’s sense of humor.

“I read it and thought, ‘Oh, that’s funny,'” she shared. “It’s really cool.”

The couple married in Mallorca, Spain, in September 2023, after meeting on the set of The Act in 2019, when King was 20.

Joey previously spoke candidly about getting married at the age of 24.

“I’ve been in a world where I’ve been exposed to adulthood. I had a mortgage when I was 14,” King said on the Podcast by Armchair Expert in april.

“Responsibility makes you grow up faster,” she added.

“And my family and everyone in my life, they adore Steven. He’s the easiest person to love. They were so excited,” the We Were the Lucky Ones star said.

Joey also said that the hardest part about deciding to get married is that everyone has an opinion about it.

“There’s never a good way to do something without someone commenting on it,” she said.

“It’s either, ‘You’re too young, you’re too old, how long have you been dating?’ or, ‘You don’t know each other that well, you’ve been together too long – where’s the ring?’” she said.

She continued, “My grandmother got married at 18, and that was normal back then. If someone got married at 24 and my grandmother was 18, they’d say, ‘How long is it taking?’ So it’s all relative, and everyone is different.”
